Film yourself filling the cards with utter filth and post the video to Gillian McKeith on a calcified Orange Wednesday.

The only bad thing about a half day on a Thursday is the Friday feeling I get at around this time, when I still have a full day of college to get through tomorrow :(
Got a wee project at work just now, there is an old labeller (old enough to specify it was West Germany it was made in) which was going to get chucked out so my boss stole it for the training centre. The engineering apprentices stripped it, cleaned everything and then rebuilt it and fixed it up. Now me and the other electrical apprentice have to rewire it and program it so as it runs with a capper we also have in the training centre, then program the touchscreen to act as the primary UI.
The machine is about 12'x7'x10' and has a mess of wires under it so i have spent my whole morning trying to trace back wires from various panels to find where they go and what they do, then labelling each cable and making notes because annoyingly the drawings are nowhere to be found. Managed to strip out a lot today so it's a bit tidier but I am now totally manky from pulling cables past gearboxes and motors and oil and grease. I think I will need to have about three showers when I get home. Or one really long one.

Install the largest glass aquarium you can find (don't fill it!); arrange mood lighting etc., then set up camera and tripod. Leave house.

Eat approx. 10x chicken phall curries, all washed down with 15 pints Cobra with 'family size' Ex-Lax bar for afters. Go home via dodgy kebab shop. Strip off, start camera, get in tank and proceed to film 'Tub Bloke'.

Next morning, rename file as README, save as read only/password protected and return all the Amazon.

If nothing else, I'd say you wouldn't be getting any more erroneously delivered packages from them.

Take a really long shower with the SD cards and film it.

Medium showers are no good. You get in, just start getting into and then have to leave. With a quick shower, you get in, get washed and jump out. With a long shower, you get in, get washed, then stand under the water for ages occasionaly moving so the parts not under water don't get too cold, then you maybe use some body scrub and sing a few songs, maybe even tempt someone in to join you. Medium showers have no redeeming factors.

A Minneapolis woman has been hit with animal cruelty charges after she tried to relocate a puppy to Atlanta, via airmail.

Quote:
For her part, Champion asked for a refund for the $22 she'd already paid for freighting the puppy, as well as the money she'd attached to the dog's collar. Apparently she's not particularly interested in the puppy.

And also...

Quote:
Beavis & Butt-head will return to MTV, it has been confirmed.

The animated show, which centred around two bored high school students, announced its comeback at the MTV Upfronts presentation yesterday.

The news was announced by the US cast of Skins and later tweeted by Justin Bieber, who wrote: "Solid day in NYC. Played hoops and just went to the MTV Upfronts...BEAVIS and BUTTHEAD are coming back!!!"

The original series, which ran for 200 episodes between 1993 and 1997, was also made into the feature film Beavis & Butt-head Do America, a video game and comic book series.

It was rumoured last year that creator Mike Judge was working on 30 episodes for the series.

fyi amazon won't just send the package to the proper owner as it has been opened and is now a return, what they will do is claim on insurance and then sell it at a discount in warehouse. They will also have no way of knowing where it was sent to.

MrsA is in tears watching Gray's Anatomy. I feel like death and will probably go to homebase to get a burger from my mate.

Miss Malabar loves it. I've watched a few episodes and, while I don't particularly care for it, didn't find it particularly dull or offensive. Typical American drama, really.

Hmmmm... my Kindle appears to be broked.

It was working last night, and this morning, but once I got on to the train it went weird and has lost most of the top half of the screen. I afears it is beyond help.

Now I have to work out how to get a replacement from Amazon.

Just fill in the form on the site. The Kindle support seems very good, the one I bought my other half for Christmas kept freezing and after filling the form in we got a call about an hour later and they sent out a new case* the same day.

*apparently some of the official cases have been causing freezing problems.

Also what Grim... says, though I think it's actually fifteen seconds on the Kindle 3.

Yeah, you're probably better of sticking with books mate, you'd just end up wearing the screen out sliding your finger back and forth along it.

No luck on the hard reset. The screen's clearly broked. It would make sense that it happened in the pub last night, but it still worked this morning (albeit briefly).

Ho hum.

Only complication is that the Kindle was bought for me as a gift.

Is the case problem the reason why they only have the lighted ones available? One would assume both would have the same issues though?

I can't see that being a problem as they are tied into your amazon account.

On the lighted ones the hooks take power from the Kindle for the LEDs, on the non-lighted ones they're meant to be insulated but apparently on some the paint has come off leading to speculation that it's some sort of build up of static from the case causing the freezes. However ours was the lighted case so

All our Incenses are all Hand Blended using the finest organic & wild harvested herbs, spices, barks, flowers, pure essential oils, resins and gums available in accordance with the correct ritual & astrological correspondences, some of which are collected in tune with the appropriate lunar or planetary, zodiacal phases. These are then added at the correct time to the blend to create the true essence & vibration of the incense or oil and thus provide you with something that is more than just a nice fragrance.

When you burn the incense please be aware of the Love & Effort that has gone into it's production and don't abuse it's power.
