I'm on the fence about it. The first had so much potential, but has become incredibly repetitive really quickly. However, from looking at video reviews, it looks like they've tried to cram too much into the second game without addressing some of my peeves about the first: that the enemy AI stand around taking turns to attack you, etc.

Hopefully they've sorted out the camera. I'm getting quite pissed off playing through the first one now, since every time I save a citizen the camera locks onto them for ten minutes, then locks on to a set of vigilantes for ten minutes, all the time I'm trying to battle the stupid camera to get the fuck away before the guards force me to enter another dull battle.

I finally 'clicked' with the combat last night, and managed to get the '100 counter kills' cheevo. It's a bit easy when you figure that out. Acre is a shithole, isn't it?

It is indeed. I'm trying to consistently nail the timing of the Combo kills now.

You start off with it, I think. Press X every time your sword contacts the enemy, and it eventually does a little special kill animation.

Yeah. Go to the training grounds and practise them. Also, I think practising still counts towards the achievement, stupidly.

Silly buggers. Will do. I'm a bit obsessive about the flags at the mo also. It took me 3 hours to travel from the start to Acre because I was scouring the whole world for flags :)

I don't care for the flags. I don't think I'd have any fun collecting them, so I'm completely ignoring them. I only whore points for things that sound fun.

I'm going here tonight: http://www.sizzlingpalate.com/index.html

I'll be having this:
MANCHURIAN CHICKEN
Stir-fried chicken breast in a Manchurian sauce 'speciality of the chef'

followed by this:
SIZZLING PALATE SPECIAL STEAK
Tenderloin meat (fillet steak) cooked with the Cheffs specialty sauce, served with grilled vegetables, chips & rice, pasta or noodles & garnished with grated cheese.

or maybe this:
MIXED GRILL
Sauteed strip loin, Lamb Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka and lamb chops, served with grilled vegetables, chips & rice, pasta or noodles with a sauce of your choice.

:metul:

Birmingham should have vanished into a massive sink hole years ago. I really don't like the place as it's for failed business men who can't afford to live in London.

I think I've been to Birmingham. The fact that I'm not sure probably says more about the place than it does about my memory.

We're going to the NEC bike show, you see. I said we'd be best getting the train down, £20 each, and coming back the same day. Miss Malabar seems to be planning on driving, paying £7 parking at the NEC, paying £50+ for a night in a hotel, spending a day in Birmingham, then driving home. She's fucking mental.

She just wants to stay a night in a hotel.

I think I've changed trains at Birmingham once, at night. I considered going for a wander outside but sanity prevailed.

She's paying for it all, so I don't care. It's only free time to me, and I'm wary of any city accepting a Dimrill.
