Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) was in Playboy.

Yeah, nice norks too, but that was a while ago. She's looking a fair bit choppier now.
wasn't she almost 30 when she was in this?

Yep, and James Masters was quite a bit older.

300-odd years older, indeed.

She was 26 when Buffy first started, and 34 when Angel finished.
She looked terrible and frumpy by the end of Angel.

Well aye, but even so. Her 'personal' circumstances totally knackered the plot of that series. It was fucking bobbins.

And for anyone not feeling old enough she's now in her 40's - and James Masters is nearly 50
Probably still would though.

Spike ? , yeah probably :-)
And, of course, Xander is almost as old as Giles.

Deliberate exaggeration? There's 17 years between them

Nicholas Brendon is only three years younger than when Anthony Head first portrayed Rupert Giles. :S

Ah, is that what he was getting at?

It's a sign of getting old when you start counting years since something from your childhood. The Simpsons first (non-Tracey Ullman) episode was almost exactly 22 years ago.

No idea, but it gave me the idea to do the maths. Scary stuff.
...And done. (For Buffy anyway. We still have Angel s5 to go.)

My recommended watch order (note that the timing of the crossovers and the timing of the air dates doesn't tie in perfectly; this order minimises cliffhangers and preserves crossovers.)

Any order up to A4.10 and B7.14.

A4.11
A4.12
A4.13
B7.15 Get It Done
B7.16 Storyteller
A4.14
B7x17 Lies My Parents Told Me
A4x15 Orpheus
B7x18 Dirty Girls
A4x16 Players
A4x17 Inside Out
B7x19 Empty Places
A4x18 Shiny Happy People
A4x19 The Magic Bullet
A4x20 Sacrifice
A4x21 Peace Out
A4x22 Home
B7x20 Touched
B7x21 End of Days
B7x22 Chosen
I'm sure the crossover happened before buffy s7

"The" crossover? There are several. The ones above are

Willow coming to LA to re-soul Angelus and Angel going to Sunnydale to deliver the amulet doohickey.
I mean "the storyline divergence", rather than specific episodes. I thought it was more like 'around the end of buffy season 3'.

Hel hasn't seen any of either so we're starting it soon, so I'll (dis)prove myself soon enough.
Oh, right. Yes. It's the end of Buffy S3, as you say.
10 minutes into Angel 5x02 and Spike has made me L-LOL at least six times.
SPOILZ ZOMG.

Spin the bottle was pretty damned good.
Conversations With The Dead was damned good, too. Probably the scariest Buffy yet.
This is technically connected to Buffy, it can go in here.

That's rather pleasant. But we don't have a thread about The Guild? Bah.
The main thing is to enjoy the picture and think sweet thoughts of genital overfamiliarity with the dear young lady.
I really, really don't like her.
I don't mind her, but she could do with eating something.

I think the ridiculous amount of fan worship she gets is frankly embarrassing ("OMG A GURL THAT PLAYS SKYRIM!!!!") but I can appreciate that picture just fine.

Felicia Day, I guess.

You've watched Dr Horrible, right?
Really? She's got a bit of a weird face. There are many hotter girls out there.

1.6 million twitter followers. That's what you get for being a girl on the internet who also plays games.

Either it's got a little more to it than than, or Gilly needs to get her followers on.

And Starling, Decca, Flis, Jazzy, Ange, LittleChef etc...
Bit of cleavage on display, that's the key.

Describing Ange as a gamer is a bit of a stretch.

True, but she was playing Fable 2 for like 24 hours.

Yeah, she's now played it twice ever.

Also "the Guild" (which she wrote / produced) , and Dollhouse (the two 'future' episodes) , and Buffy

Plus she's done stuff like this (Dragon Age mini webseries) :

Her voice is also used in both Fallout & Dragon Age

Not that she has a lot to do. I think she gets less than 50 lines in the entirety of season 7.

For those wondering,

She's Violet/Vi, one of the Potentials.
Can I click that?

Not really.
I recognise her. Another one with a bit of a funny face.
When considering anything Whedon, Christina Hendricks is better in every way than Felicia Day.

You have fun with her, I'm going home with Fraulein Staite.
