:nerd: No they haven't, they've flipped it horizontally.

Great stuff going on in here.
I don't think I've very good with a camera (At least, compared to a fair amount of you), but after some pestering from Pete, I thought I'd share some photo's I took at the beach today. (And on the way there, too)

Ha, why do I look like a teenage mutant ninja turtle?
(Love the one of the dogs running in the sea by the way, and look how cute Willow is standing all alone on the beach :luv: )

That's just turning it around in a different dimension. Think outside the box, Darren.
Few taken at Trentham Gardens yesterday;

It's the first time I've been - was a great day out and like you say there's plenty there to get some good shots of.

Aye, imagine the next scene... Dr Who emerging from the Tardis covered head to toe in shite.
Quite pleased with this shot.

Great photo. Totally nonplussed kitty.
I'll probably be put on some sort of GCHQ watch list for posting this, but what the hell.

"Covert Op."
You look like a football manager regen! (Assuming that is your drivign license)
It is indeed. I look like a terrorist, you mean.

(just making sure I'm on a watch list)
Totally playing Red Dead Redemption.
Only an iPhone pic from a moving car, but I quite like it.
The only self portrait (or - gngh - 'selfie') I've done that I've ever liked, folks:

Been a while, but here's something I was gutted I didn't snap properly last year. Turns out my garden is now loved by these beautiful mimics.

Clear winged moth that looks like a frigging hornet :metul: :luv:

My tree was full of them. Shagging.

For the first time in a while I took some pictures of some things that aren't my daughter yesterday.

Went to Blackpool Air Show. It was cut a bit short due to the weather so sadly the Vulcan and Spitfire both didn't show and the Red Arrows seemed to be performing a low cloud routine which wasn't quite as good as their normal one.

Got a great vantage point, right down the end of North Pier so a lot closer to the action than the main crowd line on the promenade, directly underneath it in some cases.

Some great shots there. Looks like a fun day out.
I have done cancelled my flickr pro account as I can no longer justify the price. Most of my picture backing up goes straight to G+ anyway.
And whilst I'm here, those MarkG plane pics are quite stunning.
Quite happy with a couple I took over the weekend. Crosby Beach featuring Another Place By Antony Gormely

Hmm, I've just noticed that I made a hash of patching that spot in the middle of the beach. Will have to redo.
Took this with the phone this morning initially to mock my other half for discarding her stuff messily but then when I looked at the setup it looks sort of poignant with the teddy looking at the grown woman's clothes. So I called it "Grown up". Cameras on phones seem to be getting silly good now.

This thread is a pain to find...
Anyway. Haven't done this in a while, but snapped a nice one at Tatton Park yesterday.

Use Photoshop?

Tried. There's literally no detail left there. I could paste a nice sky in, but that would be a disgrace against my house and my name.
Tatton Park is where I did my epic bungee jump </random fact>

Nice place! But when shooting bright sky scenes remember to expose for the highlights - that is, underexpose a little. It's always easier to bring detail back in shadows than in burnt out areas. Funnily enough, film works best the other way.
Oh! Cool, I forgot about this thread.

Here's one I've been tinkering about with for ages lately. It still looks kind of unreal but it's the best I could get it. My stab at a sort of Mary Ellen Mark kind of photo I guess. Taken back in Pennsylvania. I'm torn on it. I like the content, but there's something slightly off - and I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, might post more here soon...

That's lovely.
I'm a bit fond of this snap that I just snapped in the virtually deserted university.
