Saturday night on ITV has been totally shit for as long as I can remember and while I have nothing against aunt and dick, the absence of Shiturday Takeaway won’t concern me in the slightest.

The point was they had to replace the show because Ant got pissed and had crashed his car.

Well, yes, I understand. The lad’s got problems and I hope he gets straightened out. In the meantime, they’ve replaced one load of crap with another.

'Replaced' is a bit strong. They've brought it forward from 22:45 to 22:15.

Google Photos is hilariously inappropriate when tagging my photos and suggesting modifications.

Because of work i have a huge folder with cemetery pictures (like mausoleums and tombstones), and google photos suggested me to edit the pictures with popart-like colours.

Much of my pictures are of un-glamorous construction works, and google photos is always nagging me to put some glitter effects and similar stuff.

All jokes aside there must be some worried executives at ITV.

These 2 host their 3 biggest shows, they get 20 million in sponsorship from a car company as well.

So far from what little I've subjected myself to on Twitter and Facebook on this topic, there is a fair bit of sympathy for him. So guess he will be ok once he does the appropriate amount of penance in rehab and does another "exclusive" interview with the Sun.

You won't be surprised to read my sympathy is limited :) He has some addiction and possible mental illness, and there I do have sympathy, all his money and fame won't help him or make him happy.

But at the same time, the drink driving this is out of order (if it's proven to be the case) I'm really surprised to see so many people gloss over that part on social media

If you can't/won't provide an evidential breath sample at the station, they can require a specimen of blood or urine instead which has to be sent off and tested. That usually takes longer than a day or two.

Even if he did provide a sample of breath, if there were medical reasons why he wasn't able to be charged at the time such as needing to go to hospital then he'd have had to return to be charged.

Here’s something I’ve wondered in the past... if someone refuses to give a breath sample, and the police ‘require’ a blood/urine sample, what happens if you just refuse that, in turn? I’ve seen on TV where people have basically delayed the process so long that their blood-alcohol level diminishes and they are no longer over the limit (I watch 24 Hours in police custody... just watching out for Grim... mostly)
