What about Burnie P? What about Doom? What about Titty Fighter?

I'm beginning to think we need to talk about our relationship. It seems these days we both want different things.

But the thing is that people won't know I'm not on the xbox - I appear on the friends list in the same way that I would if I were on the xbox.

Aaaah. I see.

S'funny, then, as I didn't see your name pop up at all. I may have been too distracted by being shot in the head by Curio and Ramsea though... :)

I saw you playing ".NET something-or-other" with a little monitor-type icon next to your name, I assume this means you were on the PC while I saw you?

That'd be the one. On the PC.

Either means I'm testing/debugging some multiplayer code or leaving it running in the background so that I get any messages asking if I want to play anything. Don't worry about interrupting me if it's the former, just message away.

I didn't see Dave or Zardoz on last night. Ramsea mentioned that Sheepeh wanted an invite, so as soon as that game ended we all dropped back and I sent him two invites. Nobody was being ignored, I assure you!

I wasn't complaining, more replying to Zardoz that despite busyness, if he (or anyone else) had poked me. I'd have turned up.

I often get messages from Dimrill when he's not showing on my friends list - I presumed it was because he was messaging me from the site. I didn't see you online last night either, Dave.

When I popped on no one was CoDing so I had a lovely time on Soul Calibur 4 instead, then murdered an old man in Oblivion. Which was nice.

Given that Sheepeh saw me, and I show up when logged into my other live account, I know that I do indeed turn up on the friends list.

It's all a bit usual me being there while not on the xbox given that I am (as far as I'm aware) the only person who uses Live on windows.

Obviously in that case you must have obviously not been logged on when I was, because you're obviously one of the people I look out for when finding people to obviously play games with.

Obviously.

Yo FOMO'S.

Right I've just noticed that when playing COD that if I happen to get a UAV, Air Strike, Heli... and I die, I can, if I keep mashing my left d-pad button to use this I can still use it even after I have died and re-spawnd (or however it's spelt)... anyone else noticed this?

So after earning the extra you can still use it even after you've got killeded .. assuming you've not used it already.

Am I just being stupid and it's been there all along?

Is that where you fish off the top of a really high building? Extreme fishing?

I think people normally turn up around 9 or 10 ish.

When I wrote a piece on base raping for Everything2, someone msged me to say they initially thought base raping was about throwing other people off the top of a tall building.

I am out for a curry tonight so unlikely to be on. People who enjoy the critically acclaimed "deepest online shooter of all time, 9/10, IGN.com" Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare by Infinity Ward should note that this weekend, the map pack is half price (now just 400 Microsoft Spaceships) and there is double XP all weekend.

Meanwhile, people who prefer Frontlines: Fuel of WAAAAAAAAR will be interested to know that the new 'Conquer mode' DLC is now out, which removes the frontline concept from the game - so you are free to capture points in any order that you please.

Why is it that EVERY SINGLE TIME there's double XP, I am away and can't play on it? Boo-urns!

You're being silly, yes.

If there's no UAV up adn you get it; use it. If it's already up then save it and don't use it immediately... it might be more help to the team later on. Of course, if you get another kill then use it as a fifth would delete it and replace it with an airstrike. When I get an airstrike I run away, hide, and bomb somewhere largely at random.

When I get a chopper, I almost always DO NOT USE it. This is smart, you see.

I then go charging around, and die, hopefully taking someone with me. I then respawn, call in the chopper, and go camp somewhere. The chopper goes round, and since you're on a new kill streak, every kill the chopper gets counts to the new streak. Chopper kills three people... you've got a UAV. It gets two more... you've got an airstrike... use that well.... you've got another chopper, and all you've done is hide under the stairs somewhere.

:D

Then go get yourself killed, respawn and call in the next one.

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Not really. Just stop being so rubbish and you'll be fine. I've sen numerous comebacks from 200-300 points down. You just have to not be such a myoptika.
