That would make sense, but I am still a good while from getting up to the .5 year jump. I'm 36.15 years, born at the end of December. I think the problem is it's my birthday, then the new year, and then I think 'I'm (age)+1 this year' and that gets lodge in my head.

Well, that's mildly annoying! Had a hard disk failure in the NAS, so replaced the disk and set it to repair. Second disk has just failed while repairing!
Luckily there was nothing important on there, just downloaded TV shows, but still, bit of a faff to get all that again!

Hmm... looks like I can still pull things from the volume even though it has a crashed disk. No idea how many files are corrupt, but might as well try that in the first place. Current estimate to copy all files from the NAS... 2 days :D

RAID 5 is not enough. Disk failures are often correlates; buy a set of disks together, use them together, and they tend to fail together. I'm going away from RAID 5 next time k rebuild my NAS.

I'm using synology hybrid raid, which states that it can handle 2 drive failures without total loss. I'll see how much gets copied off successfully in a couple of days :)

I'll stick with the hybrid raid in the NAS, but also use a couple of massive single drives to backup to overnight in future. You can get 5tb drives for £120 these days!

edit : of course, it would be a bit easier if my gaming PC (that i'm using to rip the content) was a bit more reliable :D It seems it likes to crash if it is left on overnight

£300 for the management company to send out their leasehold information pack, which involves printing out a few bits of paper they already have on file. Daylight bloody robbery and nothing I can do about it, the bastards!

Still, got a mortgage agreed on the house today, subject to valuation. Now just my valuation to try and sort out :)

Probably a few more updated versions now. If it doesn't come with Megalomania, you can probably find a disk image from ('your local gaming store' - FAST )

I think the main advantage is that it comes with all the ROMs preinstalled.
Haven't loaded it up in a while. I remember struggling to get 'Cannon Fodder' to work properly.

Amiga Forver is probably what your looking for (to make it easy)

http://www.amigaforever.com/

Either buy it (10 euros) or find a torrent with it - it includes the Amiga ROM's and gives you some easy ways to launch the emulator without much faffing around.

I used to have an old CD image of it which you could boot just about any machine with and it would come up as an Amiga

Link between smoking strong cannabis regularly and psychotic episodes established.

This bit is quite important:

“You’re not going to go psychotic after a couple of puffs,” he said. “It’s like alcohol – drinking the odd glass of wine is fine, but if you’re drinking a bottle of whisky a day you’re heading for trouble.”

Also the reason that skunk is so prevalent is prohibition. If it were legal then people would be able to choose what they would prefer and most would tend toward the milder forms.
