OK, so if I were to change me motto to, say, 'carpe pudendum' or summat, would I get banned or anyhting? I'm not sure how it works, and have always found XBox online to be a wonderful place (except when Dimrill is on because he's a knobend). Is it acceptable to say vagina on there in Latin?

What's the raciest thing you've seen on there (not including a semi-clad Dimrill)?

I have 'sex forever' in Welsh as my motto and in the last 18 months have had no aggro over it.

I did, however, draw the line at making my gamertag 'Perky Tits' as that would undoubtedly have been nobbled.

It's pointless to have any sort of clever gamertag, as the illiterate fucking Americans who make up the tragic majority of Live players will mangle their pronunciations of it.

It is at times like that where I miss Neocron which had almost no restrictions on your character's name - I was Sophie Ellis Bumsexx0r, and got a lot of 'ha ha! great char name man' compliments ;)

I've just read that you can manipulate the rumble of a fellow chatter's pad using your triggers in live vision chat (got me cam today) which is a little known foray into the world of teledildonics by M$, and fair play to them for that. Which means they can't be that hostile to a bit of online smut or kink, and that's coming from someone who played Space Giraffe before Allard made Minter take all the filth out.

I might not go with carpe pudendum, as it is a little less obscure than welsh, in the worldwide gaming sense.

Me mate Kev (innit) who we've played CoD4 with recently changed his gamertag to 'Fanjita Lips' because it sounds a bit like 'fanny lips' and wanted to see if he'd get away with it. So far, he has.

Isn't it other gamers who have to complain about your name before you get banned for it? Even then, I think it takes loads to complain before you're banned.

Microsoft will just send you warnings and ask you to change your name (for free too because I think it costs 800 points to change your gamertag on a whim)

I doubt other gamers will be bothered to complain about a gamertag to be fair.. I wouldn't.. but then again, I am a broad minded adult male.

Exactly... a lot of XBox players are American and as you know, a significant portion of Americans are "all Jesus and shit", therefore seizing vaginas is perhaps not something they'd approve of. One of those sanctimonious deluded slack-jawed pricks is sure to know Latin, by some bizzarre happenstance. That'd be just my luck.

ProTip: If you signed up with a rubbish name but don't want to fork out 800 MicroShaft Points to change your name, get all your friends to say it is racist. I know people who have helped their "online" "friends" do this. MS let you change it for free then!

My friend told me of one of his work pals that had a GamerTag of "ManUSuck", in reference to the footie team. Apparently loads of 'merkins complained about him because they thought it referred to them as players individually, and he had to change it.

How true this story is, I don't know.
