No, although this explains why it wasn't there when I tried to reflash my PS3 last night. Early reports are that it doesn't seem to effect one particularly model of PS3; my guess is it'll be tied into some data on the hard disk, e.g. it bricks PS3s that have a particular games saves or something. Otherwise it's hard to see how it passed QA, as Sheepeh said. |

I did the update and it seems to be working fine. That said, all I've done with it since is loaded up GT5 to the title screen, watched a BluRay filum and had a quick go on Super Stardust HD to see how the Achievements - sorry, I mean 'Trophies' - work. It did, strangely enough, crash whilst updating to the new version of Stardust HD, but rebooted and then proceeded to update fine. |

No problems here, used it for a bit of media streaming last night, letting a friend finish Uncharted and a couple of games on Motorstorm. Also my PS3 is getting plenty of use at the moment, I tend to alternate quite equally between it and the 360 |
