Has the bottom of the page vanished on this site?

Forum pages stop before they used to on Ted. No links below posts. You know.

And it won't let me post.

It seems to be stopping before rendering the entire of the HTML.

Bah - I put a couple of line breaks at the bottom of the page to tidy things up a bit and it was bitching about me removing the 'powered by PHPBB' bit, which I hadn't. It's happy now it's at the bottom of the page again.

I don't know if this is related, but I couldn't reply last night, it was continually giving me the 'invalid request erro, please try submit again' thingy.

It did this for me too.. It looks like it's fixed now though which makes this post pretty much pointless!

Yeah, the site was completely knacked last night. It only worked from the mobile version. Any attempts to post were met by errors.

It's fine now, though.

Bill worked fine, it was only Ted that was fucked.

I couldn't log into Ted, I either got the cookie erro message, or sedo parking.

Christ. That was a fun night, then.

Oddly, Ted was absolutely fine for me at the time that everyone was complaining. Could have been that being a mod meant that extra things were displayed at the bottom that un-broke the pages.

What's the difference between Bill and Ted?

Location. It's on a different URL, and as far as the Internet is concerned, they 'live' in different places. It solved some cookie problems, and, as I don't make any changes to Bill, it'll always be there if I break Ted.

I used to get a forbidden message whenever I tried to use Bill, but one day it magically worked.

Still requires me to log in every time and doesn't remember the "log me in automatically" setting though.

That's what I was thinking. That's a server side error. I cannot fathom why it would be client specific.

Not the server provider doing some sort of fruity IP-blocking based on traffic is it? I had a problem a few weeks ago with a server provider blocking my IP because they thought I was doing a DoS attack on the site.

I think it's something to do with misaligned database table headers.

The data stream has obviously become asynchronous. Just sync it and all should be well.
