I like action figures. Curently, I am enjoying Revoltech figures. They're small, they look good and they have masses of articulation and come with extra hands and weapons and things. You can see photos of the ones I've got below. They're all from Patlabor, which is an anime thingy I've never seen. I just happen to like the designs best out of all the figures in the range so far.

What action figures do you love? Do you have nice photos to share?

I think he's ticking someone off.

If you look closely he's about to get kicked in the behind by the first guy, though.

But the little peg that allows him to stand up on mine has bost. MR EYE LEAKAGE.

My 2nd favourite is my Ren and Stimpy Yak:

But his ankles are really weak and have snapped recently. I have bost all my best toys. MR VERY EYE LEAKAGE

I LOVE TOYS!

I'll post piccies of mine, but I've got several Gundams, Pete Fowler Monsterism stuff, Qee stuff... the list goes on and on. My visit to Japan last year was most awsome, brought back loads of groovy stuff, but not nearly enough as I wanted to.

I had a little model of a panda driving a panda robot. It was awesome and I miss it terribly.
EDIT:
This is it:

Right I'm off to find another one...

CASTLE LEGO.

Also: Action Force. The range of guns and vehicles were eye-wateringly impressive to a 13 year old.

I have a lego Imperial Guardsman keyring. This is sad. I lost it the other week, but found it in the pub again.

I have that, too. It's in my pocket right this second. I also have a Kubrick one and a big statue of one. As in about 12" high, not life size or anything. I love the design of those guys.

Just fondly remembering these:

Image

This even had removable panels that you replaced with battle damaged bits. Tops.

Image

An inventively cool vehicle. How many armed snowmobile toys have there been?

Image

This was excellent. Many a day spent running round the garden with this hayoooooge aeroplane. And not long after Top Gun either, which was good.

Then there were all sorts of cars, buggies and even a 24 inch long cobra that we had too. Ah, those were the days. Having looked at the box for the F-14 above, though, I had no idea they made an aircraft carrier as well! That thing must have been ridiculously huge.

The new stuff seems to be quite cool:

My not very 'action' figures (though as you can roll them along the floor they probably have more action than most).

Sadly I don't any own any action figures (do the toy car versions of the Toy Story/Monsters Inc. characters from the end of Cars count?) although I'm most likely to get a Wall.E action figure when they come out.

This thread has made me want to buy action figures for my computer desk. The only current accessories on it are a big scanner and loads of paper of the bill variety.

ACTION FIGURES
Image

I LIKE ACTION FIGURES
Image

I LIKE ACTION FIGURES A BIT TOO MUCH
Image

Hellraiser woman, Elizabeth Bathory, Automan:
Image

Micronaut's Baron Karza (possibly the best toy ever) and modern Battle-of-the-Planets-bloke
Image

I've had two complete sets of vintage Star Wars figures and had to sell them both. But I kept the rarest, Blue Snaggletooth:
Image

My absolute favourite is the old Action Force / GI Joe stuff. GI Joe / latter-day Action Force:
Image

Earlier UK "AF" GI Joe releases:
Image

And my best thing, a complete set of early Palitoy Action Force figures with almost all the little guns (even the terrifyingly tiny pistols):
Image

I'm enjoying the current '25th Anniversary' GI Joe figures too:

ACTION FIGURES!

Where did the Dr A. action figure come from as up till now I just thought you happened accross an action figure that looked identical(ish) to you, but now I could well believe that you got it manufactured because it seems your a Action Figure Maniac who probably isn't even a doctor at all and was just in a mental asylum for people obsessed with collecting little people* and then escaped and took the name of his Doctor whilst satisfying his urges with little toy people until one day its just to much and you'll snap again.

Man I wish someone who looked like me was an action figure so I could do that. 'Cos it works it very well.

Also: Don't diss the plastic bags that's infinitely better than the idiots who never open the box.... grrr....

All these people with toys on their work desks, if I did that I would be ridiculed and have bricks thrown at me...Boo!

I only have the one action figure, it's Boromir blowing his horn missus and he sits astride my Minas Tiras money box next to the fireplace. The only other thing I have (apart from bloody tens of Heroclix models) is my model of Venom made by a rather talented sculptor mate of mine.

Image

I'm hoping he becomes famous so I can sell it for mucho monies.

Yes it is lovely...he also made a smashing model of Rorschach, unfortunately it waws just that a single model. The Venom figure was the largest batch he's done and that was only five.

That's Isaac Washington from The Love Boat. Excellently, due to the penny-pinching part-reuse of the manufacturer, the generic soldier figure on top of him has the same head.
