I think Discord is just a platform for making Forums without having to do a load of work to make them so you get a ready made forum where admin makes the topics (channels) instead of users making the topics I am in another discord that has a million specific topics, which is quite overwhelming this ... |

Hmm, it looks for "#unread" and if it's not on the page it just leaves you at the top. I guess I could add an unread tag to the bottom of the page? That might work. Firefox would have to be caching really aggressively (and stupidly) ... |

That gives me the last 'new' post maybe about 50 - 60 % of the time That's... Not how computers work. Are you missing it? It is pretty small. You should never have to scroll to it, though. Well, you should never have to scroll to the first unread post, at least. It irks me a bit when a topic doesn't interest me but I can't leave it unread. So I either have to click 'mark topics read' or click into it and back to general discussion. That might just be me being weird though. I'm the same. I've no interest in cars for instance, but I always click into the thr... |

I forgot the car thread existed for about six years because of the ignore function. Is that a good thing or a bad thing though (from your point of view)? Bad thing, I guess. I like talking about cars. In fact, rather than ignore, mute or block would be better. You might need to clarify that for me ... |
