I can see what you mean but the bulk friend importer thingy isn't as effective if you get a load of new friends on Live but only half of them are relevant to the forum.

Some people might not want to be associated with the forum either (I realise this is their fault and they should update their own details)

I don't think it would do any harm. It's not a massive hard ship to fill your details in again, plus.. it may prompt some people who have never filled their details in in the first place.

This is certainly where the Wii falls way behind.. you can memorise a PS3/Xbox ID. I've have to switch my Wii on to find my code again and I really can't be arsed.

Grim... - if it's out by Christmas, together with basic enough games, I'll go for that instead if it's cheaper than a Wii. That said, the option of watching iPlayer on the telly is quite a draw with the Wii...

Because the wii connects to the internet via wireless means. And you need said internet for iplayer.

There is an overpriced dongle for a wired connection, assuming the wires are in place.

If I remember rightly, the Wii has wifi built in but you need to pay extra for an ethernet adaptor.
