This is great, enjoyed that. Definitely share some of those memories, esp Cannon Fodder.

I concur, although I was surprised you didn't finish Cannon Fodder, I did it a few times, (I think I managed it once, with keeping one of the originals alive too - I did consider trying to do it without losing anyone, but It was far too hard for that) I struggled with Cannon Fodder 2 though, I don't think I got very far at all.
Skool Daze seemed like an amazing bit of programming when it was first released. So much more depth than most of the games of the time
Ooh, Skool Daze, that reminds me of this school I saw in March. Had to take a photo. It'd make a great real-life setting, I watched for a bit for someone standing on the stairs, firing a catapult at the geography teacher.

Facing the other way you see the church, which is a famous view of the capital.

Well, typical shots of Namibia would be desert and safari pictures. If your contact is me, who didn't really fancy the rigours of a self-driven safari on his tod, then you'll get these as a summary:

Dune 7 (I nearly got to the top, but wigged out), Flamingos, Seals, Shipwreck on Skeleton Coast, Sunset in Swakopmund, a salty lake.

We have cat sitters calling in to feed our two while we are away on holiday.

They were left a live and now very plump gift by one of them.
I have a similar "gift" in my kitchen who is alternating between making himself at home under the cupboards, and in the baking tray drawer. T'was quite a shock when I opened the drawer to grab a tray and there was a fat mouse sat eating an ancient conker (we find the conkers everywhere, presumably because the previous owner believed the myth about them deterring spiders).

You'd think with four cats, one of whom brings back "treats" almost daily, this wouldn't be an issue... and yet here we are.
Woke up to a mouse head and some internal organs on the rug so I guess now we just wait and see if that was the mouse or another one that's been brought in...
