Gutted. Who am I going to play Hero Quest with?

I might still sneak out for the quiz like last year. It's only like a 4 hour round trip after all. They'll never miss me
Excellent. Sorry Davpaz, you've been bumped. Nice knowing you.

He's only saying that because you have a big brain...

Seriously though, the more the merrier and it would be great to see you again.
Remember your MOT next year!

I dunno.

Regular price is £100, but I don't know whether it changes if you're attending for a markedly shorter time.

£80 good for you?
That seems probably too much if it's £100 for three nights and you're staying one night.

I'd prefer to pay slightly more if I have to

£50? I don't want to be a freeloader!

But it's also £100 for two nights, given that some people don't stay the Sunday.

Insight into how much I worry about everything: I also have a worry in my head that if we offer particularly good discounts then people will start shortening their participation, to the point where the overall price has to go up, which may prevent some people from coming at all. I also hate asking people for money :DD

£70? £75? £65?

Generate a random number between 60 and 80 and pay it into my account :D
£80 it is then. I'll sort you out as soon as I'm sober enough to remember my login ;)

I understand what you're saying, but if you take a bed for one night it's a bed that no-one else can have for the whole weekend (unless the occupant is feeling especially friendly).

It's a tricky one to price, certainly.
Well, I'm definitely coming. So... what do I bring, entertainment wise? Or do I just leech off the collective as a consumer?

You bring your A game if you want to be champion.

Typically we are well equipped, but if you have any board games etc you think others won't have but folks would like, then bring them along!

A grass skirt.
Skirts of all types are banned for gentlemen this year

I suspect a wild spreadsheet will appear.

Try Not to Fart: The board game
Is anyone bringing a technohat? If anyone is, I wonder if it's worth me bringing mine for multiplayer technohat shenanigans.

Doubtful that the Internet connection would be good enough.
Hopefully we will have a handy board game spreadsheet closer to the time.

Save us all lugging the same games up there!
Ah yeah. Always forget about that.

Jem and I stayed at another non-BeEx cottage event the weekend before last and that place had fibre broadband and a 50 metre indoor heated pool ;) If it wasn't completely non-central I'd suggest it for Cotta9e.

If it sleeps 25 people and costs the same, I'm interested!
I have a retropie with loads of classic games and two controllers, if that was of interest
I can come. I now owe my ex-wife a favour...... :)

Yep!

Officially sleeps 24, but the organiser of our party arranged accommodation for 28 + a few kids.

Cost isn't the same though from what I can tell - 3 nights is £4K.

//edit: Also 50ft pool, not 50m :P
£160 each, says my likely-crappy mental math.

[edit] I'm right! In your face, math teachers!

145 miles for me!

It's surprisingly not-posh - it looks very grandiose from the outside but once you're inside it looks... fairly normal. OK, so it's not Ikea furniture or anything, but it does really just look like a slightly bigger version of "our" Cottage.

The pool and sauna were very nice though, even if I was basically the only person there that didn't strip completely starkers every night while using it.

Any requests? It's mainly mega drive and NES/SNES games currently, but it can do pretty much anything.
