I feel like I need a weekend plan that doesn't involve getting blind drunk, which is all I've achieved in previous years.

That's happened. We weren't ever allowed to play that scenario again.

We shall have to play that "Get the danger counter to max out" scenario from Zombicide. We've been winning too easily.

We could try that zombie game where we didn't even get to the end of the first turn before giving up in confusion.

'Dead of Winter'. My fault for not reading the rules properly beforehand. I've played it several times since and enjoyed it, but it's been a while and I've forgotten what you do again.

Even if you had a turn, you'd have lost before getting zombies anywhere near the humans.

I played Dead of Winter recently and really enjoyed it, at least partially because if I'm going to do multi player at all I prefer it be cooperative. We actually got pretty far into it and genuinely thought we were going to win...then within about three minutes of that point a load of unexpected shit happened and everything fell apart spectacularly. It was proper hilarious how quickly everything went from "Yas!" to "Shitballs!"

Bobby's farted again eh?

Work have fucked up and given me a four hour drive for tomorrow even though I told them I wasn't available Fri or Mon. I've got an issue with the phone they've given me (Samsung Galaxy J5, phone fans) -it won't charge, so I didn't get the call as it was off. Just checked my VM and the car I'm picking up today is for delivery tomorrow. Guess I won't be there early getting drunk with Cras after all. :(

I have decided to come along to this at the last minute. It’ll be just me as Russell and Darwin are having a boys weekend of drinking (milk) and gambling (or Duplo). I can’t edit that spreadsheet on my phone, but speaking to Matt and Carley and the rest of team ‘Games For Simple Folk’ I’m bringing Articulate, Balderdash and Cranium.

I'm now imagining Mimi taking a massive detour on her next driving lesson and turning up at the cottage with a confused barefoot driving instructor.

I think I’ve decided to get a different instructor as barefoot dude is playing on my mind, due to his barefootedness. He was parked outside my house yesterday whilst I was home and when he opened the door he was barefoot again.

I had to switch driving instructors when my first phone phoned me up to say she'd crashed her car and was quitting as an instructor. :D
