This was one of the games I had delivered today -

I didn't know much about it, but looking at the back of the box, it looked very familiar, and sure enough, it's basically a console version of Split Personalities, one of my favourite Spectrum games. Might have to dust off a game boy later and give it a whirl.

Sorry, I missed this, I think I go up on the 6th, case is on 7th and 8th, and then back down on the 8th or 9th depending on timings.

Maybe. In Kernow next week, netrunner is on Monday 7th, so maybe 8th.not sure if i can get out on the 6th.

Been wishy-washy on this as they have been messing me around... Travelling up on the train at the moment, due back down tomorrow, however, it may not go ahead, or it may be delayed and go on longer. No one seems to know...

I had my second guitar lesson today. Currently getting my left hand to obey what my brain is telling it to do is extremely difficult.

But then I remember thinking I would never be able to pull off a decent combo in Tony Hawk's 2 or get to grips with Hard mode on Guitar Hero.

I just need to think of it as a videogame that takes a very long time to get good at and I'll be fine. All I want is to be able to play one song well in 15 months (not a Dragonforce one) - that has *got* to be achievable surely?

It really is. Really, really is.

But the tips of the fingers on your left hand are going to ache like fuckery to start with. Push through that.

Do you know, I never realised that was in the lyrics. Did they edit it out on the remastered albums?

Why is this property so cheap?
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for ... 79271.html

A similarly sized (also listed) property in this area would usually go for at least £200k more.

I said to Gaz that I think it's the "quirky" that does it.

There are quite a lot of properties round here that are grade 2 though.

Am actually tempted to book a viewing though. Curiosity getting the better of me.

Quirky means it has stupid bits that'll piss you off. Grade II listed means you can't fix them.

'Quirky' here means lots of small or odd shaped rooms. 'Listed' probably means you won't be able to get change of use for the shop.

Cheers. No dice, though. Went with someone with more more cosmetics experience. Feedback good though, but need to give more examples when replying to certain questions.

I turned down an interview in Avonmouth, as they wouldn't up the pay by 17%.

The hunt continues, as if I am being interviewed for jobs which pay 25% more, then i should be going for them.
