I've just had a call from India about doing something with a website for work. I'm not interested, but the guy sent me an email anyway.

In it, is a virtual tour of his office. It's quite interesting! If you zoom in you can see the office rules posted on the wall. Standard things like don't save contact info in personal phones and be nice to your customers.

Take a look if you've got a minute.

Heh. According a pic in the Guardian, the sun really does shine through Box Tunnel on Brunel's birthday.

This week is only 3 working days, I'm off on Thursday to lay some turf and build some stuff out of wood (decent, outside, manly pursuits), but my fucking god are these three days dragging. Whilst I'm totally psyched about the move to Singapore (we have our orientation and school visits week in the last week of May too!) I do wonder whether I should just jack this all in and become a forager or lumberjack or landscape gardener or drug dealer or something else less stressful and with more outside work.

Test the water by stuffing 10 packets of oxo cubes up your arse before your flights to and from Singapore.

Make sure you have battery on your phone after you've landed. Took me an hour and a half to get through border control at Singapore last week.

I thought it was a "is this phone legit?" Delay, as Bobby had to power it up to prove it was a phone

Ah yes, that does make sense. Though that's a lot of charging time just to prove it's a real phone.

Ahhhhhhhh.

Festival week can be fun - crazy diversions to avoid the insane traffic, our local Tesco turning into a bizarre cider / bottled water / cheap camping equipment depot, sitting in my garden drinking and listening to the music, giving directions to burnt-out looking revelers who think they are in Glastonbury and can't find the bus station. :) :)

Our tradition is to stay in an Airbnb in the area on Tuesday night so we can be at the gates bright and early!

We're highly tempted to airbnb our house for that week - go crash with my parental units and live off the SWEET FESTIVAL CASH.

You were part of the first year of the staying the night before locally tradition. Airbnb is merely the transactional conduit for the tradition.

Can't wait for the joy of dealing with IT on this. On the plus side, I can blame IT, because the head of IT called me and surprised me and made me drop my laptop when my phone went off surprisingly. Which surprised me.

Ah, nice lazy morning before getting the train back to Cornwall for Easter. Few travel traditions are classier, after all, than staggering down several standard class carriages on so-called-GWR back to your seat with four tins of beer from the buffet car.

Wasn't as spritely going up the stairs at Marylebone last night as I usually am. Ah well, I blame the previous night's Easter Curry and, perhaps, too many cans of beer on the train up. It was, as bank holiday trains tend to be, crammed full, so I was glad I had both booked a seat and boarded at an early stop.

I'd go to none of those and instead, go to July 8th 1995 so I could be there for the launch of the Sega Saturn. I'd then be able to pick up all those pesky expensive games before they got stupidly expensive...

Oh... I'd also tell myself to not be a dick in my teenage/early twenties years.

Oh... I'd also tell myself to keep hold of Hayley Ventons phone number and not lose it.
