This reminds me. I booked the cottage and need deposit money.

I think the deposit is higher this year as it covers both cottages, but the overall cost is the same, which is awesome as it included a big discount on the second cottage. So overall cost should be the same as before, give or take depending on numbers.

I'll hit you with figures tomorrow, but just thought I would give advance notice.

In!

For the first time definitely and without reservation. The knowledge of an upcoming giddy fun weekend with you lot will help pull me through the horrors of this year.

Not sure if you know that you can book this place via Cottages4U?

You can use Tesco club card vouchers against the cost

£15 =£50
£30 =£100

http://www.chooseacottage.co.uk/tes/lis ... bed&page=2

So could make it cheaper for people who have Tesco vouchers maybe?

You have to go through a Tesco branded version of the site to use the vouchers. I checked on the normal site with the same place, date etc and found it cost you £50 more to use the vouchers. This was on a £600 booking.

Unfortunately if we went via the website we wouldn't get the deal we've negotiated directly with the owner, which saves us a *lot* of money compared to the list price

Christ I need to organise deposits for this.

As Cras said, we don't use the website and get a hefty discount for being long-standing customers. The Tesco offer may well put it into the same region, but would have to be booked in one go, and I don't really like the idea of having to get Tesco vouchers from 20+ people to do it (nor am I sure it would let us).

Thanks for letting us know though. Could definitely be of use to people in general for booking things.

Cras, I'm surprised you haven't coded up a mini site for this to mark who has paid deposits, and how much is owed etc, seeing as how you've got all that free time with not running Song Wars.

Two things need to happen.

1 - More people confirm attendance

2 - People give me money for the deposit

£30 quid each should do for now.

I have thus far received £60 from Team MaliCool and £100 from Mr Dave.

Cheers!
