I'm on a two day training. I haven't started day one and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. It can only get better...

Vanilla and lemon are two of my absolute favourite flavours of things. They should never, however, be in the same thing.

No! Vanilla in a cheesecake, absolutely. Lemon in a cheesecake, likewise. Both, nu-uh.

How did I not think to 'delay delivery of email' at work? This could be a game changer!

What?

Do you mean you're going to start using the function to send emails to your bosses at 7pm saying how you're still working?

No. I will use it to hold an email in my outbox for a few minutes before it gets sent so I can change it if needed.

I struggled through by mainlining coffee, chocolate biscuits and haribo. Bedtime when Joans has finished cooking my bacon.

What did you get up to today Meems? :)

Is 'cooking my bacon' a euphemism?

I did some washing, had a nap, sewed some button bands on a teeny tiny cardigan and then attached buttons. I had the worst macaroni cheese ever for lunch, blocked some baby knits, took some photographs and updated my website. Little bits and pieces, nothing too much: I'm still recovering from the weekend.

It's amazing how much more noticeable baby's movements are when you are relaxed as opposed to sitting stressed in the office, too,Mao I spent about 90 minutes just staring at my tummy.

You appear to have invented the Danger Email.

Why don't you just save them as drafts until you've had time to mull them over? Less danger of them going just as you realise you've made a terrible mistake.

I'm in a hotel in London for a couple of nights. Thinking of contacting Amnesty International as I feel I have been imprisoned in inhumane conditions. 'Single room' doesn't do it justice.

Now I remember why I hate working in our fine capital city.

Single rooms in any hotel seem to be fucking awful.

I'm not sure why it is deemed acceptable that as you won't be anticipating company you also shouldn't get a window, or ac that works but it seems to be an accepted position.

I used to schedule emails for 6:05am to managers of stores reminding them to do their jobs so that I didn't have to fix things when I came in at 8am. Every single time they'd email back at 6:10am with a 'oh, I was hust about to do that... You're in the office early Mimi' email. I'd have several there every morning.

I didn't correct them.

Once stayed in one that was a twin cut down the middle by a plasterboard wall. To the point where the room had half a sink. just the cold tap.

I would like to try the Skate games on the 360 but I can't seem to find one cheap enough. I may start a thread to see if anyone has a copy they'd like to be rid of.

Now that the 360/PS3 are dying out, it might be worth it as people will be moving on to new consoles.

Crikey. I asked someone to move their bag from the seat on a crowded train as I got on and they said they could not move their legs from under the seat. I asked him "Sir, do you realise how busy this train is?" (in a loud enough voice to garner some attention from those around, people live this sort of free entertainment, and I am fuck tired and want a seat), and he sprang up, threw his bag into the overhead rack and offered me the window seat before sitting down next to me. Right teas he was and all about it. I changed seats at the next stop as it got quieter with a "we'll have a bit more room, aye?" And I think he still had the grumps about it all

I'm going to die.

At some point anyway. So I'm doing a will tomorrow and I'm wondering who to leave stuff to. What do we think about the possibility of leaving my PC hardware and gaming stuff to BeeX to be distributed somehow in accordance with however fit the site sees fit?

I've got no one else to leave it to and it'd probably be a waste to just see it sold off at auction for pennies and shoved into my pitiful estate pot to pay off my inevitable massive crushing debts that will probably kill me anyway.

Bamba will get my PS2 and Shadow of the Collosus of course.

The other big problem with this place is the lack of parking spaces, combined with it being in a residential area where every road surrounding it has cars parked nose-to-tail 24/7, causing me to have to park some distance away. Luckily, my van is tiny, so will fit in the smallest spaces, and I was lucky enough to find a space 100 yards away when I got back at 10 last night.

I've been asked to stay an extra night to work on a pilot project so have booked into a Travelodge a few miles away, where I know there are plenty of spaces and the room is guaranteed to be bigger than a broom cupboard.

Me too. The place I stayed was the best deal at the time, for 2 nights, not too far from Edgware, and the boss wanted to keep the costs down.

But now I'm dong someone a favour and the cost is less of a concern.

3.30am is a great time to be driving in London. Only a few lone drunks wandering around and some early shift workers at bus stops, with very light traffic. A couple of balm pots racing around at about 60mph in 30 zones, probably trying to provoke the rozzers to play Catch Me.

Going on shift at 6.30pm was a very different kettle of fish. Every box junction blocked by a dick head who MUST get through the lights this time, motor cyclists determined to squeeze between lines of traffic, scraping against wing mirrors and glaring at car drivers as thought they have a divine right to ignore all rules of the highway. It's like everyone has had their courtesy gene destroyed.

Can't wait to get out of here after knocking outvsome zeds.
