I went to one with Myp two weeks ago. It wasn't a hospital. I still ate sandwiches though. And don't remember getting home despite watching Doctor Who live soon after. I call that a result.

Got into work this morning and started filling in my timesheet for the month past. I've got my calendar open because I took a lot of individual days off in November so I need to check them off. I get up to last week and go to book in the day off I had on Friday only to notice it's not in the calendar. Hmm. Rifle through my emails; nope, nothing anywhere to show that I'd actually requested it. So it seems that on Friday I just didn't bother my arse to turn up because apparently that's how I roll now.

There was an item on the 'Skeptics' guide to the universe' podcast recently about a survey suggesting that around 85% of people make at least one serious error when fitting a car seat to bring their newborn home.

It kind of makes sense, in that most likely people won't have practiced it beforehand, and by then they just want to get home.
