There are three possibilities:

1) The killer decided not to kill. I think this is very unlikely.

2) The doctor protected the target (probably me).

3) I roleblocked the killer.


I'm waiting to see who pipes up.

DavPAz, why are you so keen to get the dr to pipe up. as SA shows, the options aren't exactly numerous.

Hmm, even if the doc reveals himself, we still wont know if it was his protection or your block that stopped the kill.

The fact that Bobbyaro hasn't come forward to say I blocked him indicates that he's either the killer or the doctor.

Not really, if he was the doctor then there would have been a kill because you had blocked him. Someone else could be the killer but their target blocked by the doctor.

I was trying to get bobby to fake roleclaim, at which point I would point this out, and we'd lynch him.

to be fair, I was going to make exactly the same comment, and had even typed it out, but I was at work and forgot to post. Not sure what you wanted me to say wrt the staying the night. You stayed the night with malc, twice and each time there was one kill less. He wasn't a killer, neither am I. I think it far more likely the killer's target was protected. Or something else is going on.

The difference being that four mafia/underground mafia/whatever have died since I blocked malc, so the odds are far greater that there's only one left, and secondly, I'm such an obvious target for a kill, and therefore so likely to be protected, that I doubt that the doc would choose anyone else, and I doubt that the mafia would bother to attack me.

You know what, I'm very much intrigued to see what reason you've concocted. I imagine it's very creative.

... or let me guess: there's some kind of cult and you're all just waiting to recruit enough people to swing the vote against a non-member? Guessing you can't recruit me or the doc or you would have already, so it makes sense to just keep quiet and go after the only practically guaranteed townie, since you know the real townies wouldn't do it.

If this is the case, and there IS a cult out there... give me one good reason why I shouldn't stop roleblocking entirely, and let the mafia kill you.

1. I have wondered if the underground mob were a cult.
2. I don't think we have any mafia left, I think that Kovacs was telling the truth and the only kill role we have now is part of the mob, from what kovacs said it looking like non of the mafia could kill anyway.
3. I am suss of people voting for kovacs when there was even the slightest chance he was a cop;

Seriously, guys. Voting for Davpaz just because the person who the cop said is the loony is so ridiculous as to be suspicious. I can't think of any reason to do so if you're a townie.

I've already told you all I can. On the night that we had no kills, I blocked Bobbyaro. Any remaining killers will have known that the doctor was practically guaranteed to protect me, so they will have been trying to kill the doctor instead.

Bobby is simply more likely to be a villain than any one of us. We are not going to find out anything more by wasting another night, but if there is a cult out there, we will lose more people to them by doing so.

Vote Bobbyaro. It's the best shot we've got.
