Sunrise. Jaws set and fists clenched the Town takes rolecall. Of course, there is one missing.

An immaculate house, with an ugly flaw. Amid the flowers and cushions lies another corpse. A corpse in a lovely dress in pastel colours, now soaked red with blood. Multiple stab wounds to the back gape as open as the jaws of the onlookers.

Gilly was a Townie

[playerlist]
LaceSensor
Alarm
Flis
gospvg
Joans
Sinister Agent
Goddess Jasmine
Mr Dave

Not Gilly she was lovely, always looking out for us townies.

It's now pitchforks in hands time - time to march to the Mayors' Office and demand action.
The Mafia is out of control !!

Bloody hell. Joans, what the hell are you playing at? Okay, I get that you were baiting the mafia, but at this point you're the only person any townies will trust, and changing your vote so many times just split things even further. If you turn out to be mafia after all this I think we may have to get you some kind of trophy.

Are we going for Jasmine? For Flis? For Lace? For me? Who? We can't afford another no-lynch, we have no other way of evening the numbers.

I can't figure out of we've got the most awesome mafia or the most belming townies. If Joans turns out to be a baddie, I'd go for the former!

I concur with this & Joans is my neighbour so I know he is a townie.
I have some people living across from the road from me but they have never come round to say hi! so I don't trust them.

:belm:

Fuck me, I hope this day times out.

In fact, sod it, I'd rather be lynched than live in this place with this level of paranoia. Look at you, dancing to Joans' tune. He hasn't even given an explanation for his vote. At this stage, it wouldn't surprise me if his experiment yesterday was to find out how easily a couple of us townies could be swayed.

It'd be a mighty ruse, that's for sure, but not beyond the scheming scum who want this town for themselves.

If you lynch me, we definitely lose. I am not mafia and other than voting for Lace based on pretty solid logic, I don't think I've displayed any mafia-like tendencies.

Seriously, stop belming so soon. Oh Mr. Dave...here lie your true colours.

When I die you will see I'm a townie and those who have voted will use rock solid 'definitely a townie' Joans as a reason to justify their vote. Don't buy it, people. Or, in fact do. You have sealed your fate. Helmets...

Mm. I must admit, that while Joans' 'experimenting' was a clever idea, doing it right to the death was a big gamble.

I still think it's more likely he's town, though. It's just way too elaborate. On the offchance that I'm wrong about both of you... Flis, are you saying you think Joans is mafia?

Like I said Joans is our neighbour and thus we have chosen to trust his vote.
Maybe he is Mafia and tricking us into a trap but I do not think he is Mafia.

Thus my vote stands.

SA, the only thing I know for sure is that I'm not mafia. Literally any of you could be. Joans may, taking all events at face value, have the highest chance of being a townie out of those remaining but even he probably isn't a sure bet.

I still think Lace is mafia.

The 4 o'clock deadline probably means the day will time out anyway. My "experiments" were indeed to see who voted and how.
I didn't vote for GJ because I believed she was a townie (contrary to my earlier thoughts).
I still don't know anything though, so expect me to :belm: it up spectacularly.

I intend to vote for Flis, but I'm holding back until we hear from everyone if possible, as if I vote now, someone could jump in and finish it off. I'd rather give any townies time to say something, and any mafia time to incriminate themselves.

Just because you trust him and think he's a townie doesn't make him right...when I get lynched and one of you dies tonight, there'll only be 6 of you left. You cannot win against 3 mafia. The fact this day is so short, coupled with how quickly I'm being voted for, suggests there are 3 left and that game over is tomorrow. So the mafia have nothing to lose by jumping on the bangwagon early....

Is there any reason why the day is ending so soon? I realise if we get it wrong we've lost, but not everyone is going to have a chance to vote by 4 which sort of defeats the object of the game.

Possibly for the reason now to get someone like fils to start squealing?
We have not been able to make any lynch's the past few days.

Agreed. I certainly won't have time to go back and look at the week. At the very least, I'd humbly suggest making it 7 instead so people have a chance of getting in after work and that.

Our only chance is to lynch a mafia person today, if we do not get a lynch they will kill another one of us in the night.

The two people I believe are Townie's Mr Dave & Joans have both voted for you?

If anything, it benefits the mafia as they can contact each other. Plus, not all of them need to vote to secure a lynch. Not with the amount of belmsome townies around, anyway....

That doesn't make them right....they know, at the very least, as much as you and at most, that I'm a townie so stop following what they say.

They haven't even given a reason for voting for me. If I die they win tonight....think. Keeping me alive cannot do any harm to the town, I can help you.

So can we discuss who actually is mafia now, please?

If we get another no lynch then someone will go during the night. We will be down to 4 or 5.

I'm still thinking Flis, then maybe Alarm or Lace, but my reasons for suspecting Alarm in particular are pretty circumstantial, and anyone left could be one. We absolutely have to get a lynch tonight as I can see no other way to get useful information that'll give us a fighting chance.

See, this leaves me at a bit of a dilemma.
[meta]I don't know how likely GJ is to get home before 4 o'clock, and we might need her vote to finish off Flis (which may or may not be a good thing). I could text her, see if she's in a position to look through the thread on her phone and decide whether or not to vote. Obviously, if I'm wrong about Flis, that might end the game. So what do I do[/meta]

You and I have been sparring for most of the last 3 or 4 days, you make some good arguments but others, like lynching me, are belming.

Why do you think I am mafia, give me a chance to defend that accusation with something other than "but I'm a townie".

You mention Alarm, I'm thinking Mr. Dave is a possibility too. Seems odd for him to comedy vote all week then happen to come in here during a short day and vote for a townie (or anyone other than Gos)? Doesn't make much sense....?

Bloody stupid game this :P

I'm not sure how I feel about you recruiting people to hang me...we've had close votes before and people haven't been texting each other to vote! Smells of a mafia who are desperate to get this over with today. Cunts....

You still haven't given any explanation as to why you're voting for me....know you're going to win if you hang a townie so it doesn't matter? Come on people, question this crazy logic! This is the lynch that dooms the town to lose and you're just going along with it!? Mentals.

For the record....you're all idiots of the highest order

I'll give it another hour or so.

No, not fucked. I'm not mafia, so me not dying now is a good thing....

Offending the people you want to save you is not going to help you.
My vote stands.

I explained why I was voting for you the other day - your accusations of me didn't add up and seemed to be trying to force me to keep defending myself when I already had, making me look suspicious. Then your interpretation of the mafia's actions seemed more designed to be different to your behaviour than to make sense for them from a tactical point of view.

Then the wy Bobby got offed after he quietly suspected you, and now with the heat on, you're squealing like Johnny Squealer, having accused just about everyone today alone to see what sticks.

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm far more sure than I am of anyone else (although Alarm is really looking dodgy right now to me after that last vote).
