As the fourth day after the mysterious dissapearance of the town, the survivors of Awesomeville gather together in the town centre, and find that they now number only 13.

It appears that kalmar is the only person missing. At a dead run they make haste to his house and find that he is not there. They find him a short distance from his house. It looks as though someone came to kill him and he managed to escape, but his luck did not last as it looks like a sawn-off shotgun has been discharged into his face, his brains scattered for all to see. Unlucky, kalmar.

Back at his house they find more Tom Cruise cult paraphenalia, but just like the discovery on Day 2, it looks fresh, unopened, and unread.

kalmar was the Swift Townie Cult Convert.

With 13 players remaining, 7 votes are needed for a lynch.

With the town pondering the events of the night, they suddenly notice that MaliA is acting strangely. He starts making elabourate hand movements, moving faster and faster, his eyes wild. His jacket falls open to reveal an ill-fitting jacket full of C4.

Suddenly MaliA dashes across the street towards a small crowd who swiftly part and leave only one person standing there. It's Joans. Uncomprehending of what is happening, Joans stands there transfixed as MaliA screams a curse as he throws himself into his target. After the briefest of moments, there is a click, and then, an explosion.

Joans and MaliA are incinerated. The town cannot believe what they've just witnessed. Following a search and an investigation, the identities of these two victims are uncovered.

Joans was the Fence Sitting Cult Convert

MaliA was the Mime Artist

[playerlist]
Plissken
JBR
Curiosity
LaceSensor
KevR
GazChap
Sheepeh
Craster
Runcle
Spinglo Sponglo!
Rodafowa

With 11 players still alive, 6 votes are required for a lynch. Day 4 will expire on Friday at 12pm.

Well that's a great butchering of the cult right there. They must be down to 2 max, I think?

Irritating about Russ - I've never seen anyone manage to make themselves look so suspicious and still be nothing special.

So what is the scores on the doors? Cult down to 2, Mafia down to 2? Town down to?

Well, that was unexpected. I guess MaliA thought that his time was going to come today so figured he may as well do some good while he still could. Bad night for the Cult too, they're going to be down to what, just the leader? Possibly one more convert too?

The Mafia is definitely the biggest threat to us now, if we can find them then we might actually stand a chance of winning this one! That'd be a turn up for the books. A shame that Swiss Toni had been converted to the cult, who am I going to buy a car off now?

Cult down to 1 or 2, Mafia at 4.

Seven votes needed to lynch.

Careful now.

I hadn't thought about the Mime doing that. It's a smart move though, as Malc was threatening to use his bomb on MaliA, so we lose a foot shooting chance, and kill a Cultie into the bargain!

Now, having read and re-read the events of yesterday, I'm pretty sure I know who is in the Mafia... but dare I share it with the world?

Since the Mime chose to mimic the bomber, the Swiftie can certainly only be killed by a Mafia hit. I didn't know they were fond of shotguns, but that's the only people who could have killed him.

Yeah I get that but it still doesnt make sense.
If they choose to mimic the SK or Vig, how do you choose whether they get info or a kill ?
Did I miss where that was written?

I assumed that the mime when copying only copied what was actually happening at that time.
I.E. they mimic the SK, and if the SK is indeed gathering info that night, they too would gather info. If the SK was killing that night, they too would kill. If the SK wasnt doing anyhting, they also would fail to do anything. Ergo, I assumed that to copy the Suicide bomber, the suicide bomber would have had to exploded too.

Does this make sense, even if I am incorrect.

In future games more clarity required I think.
From this its unclear when the mime copies the SK or the Vig what outcome they get, if its you tossing a coin then I'd like to know.

Irrelevant now obviously.

Also Malc, the hit had to be Mafia. The swift townie is immune to the other night killing roles.
Unless of course he can avoid one a night, but not two. Clarification?

We need to start going after the Mafia now as they can really swing the votes against us. If you know who all of them are, and it isn't guesswork, then spit it out. If they then kill you, that's 1 townie down (assuming that's what you are!) but we'll know who to go after so it won't be in vain.

I'm eager for some bloodshed, so we need 2 targets, one to hang, and one for me to blow up.

I'm proposing JBR for one, anyone have anythoughts for the other one?

I see what you're saying, however, lets say for the sake of argument that the SK chose not to kill last night. Had MaliA mimiced the SK, he would have either investigated or killed at random. The fact a player hasn't activated their ability doesn't mean the Mime can't mime it, otherwise what use is the Mime?

You need to be bloody sure, man. If you get another innocent townie (or even a Cultist) then the mafia can use their voting block to get another townie offed today, then then their hit will win the game tonight.

Same goes for the Serial Killer, by the way. Killing anyone who isn't Mafia almost guarantees them the game. Your only chance is to kill at least two Mafia and THEN start clearing up the town/Cult.

The only people left on my radar were MaliA and Curiosity. One is dead, and if Curiosity has proper information about the Mafia then he's obviously a goodie so we don't want to kill him. Although he could still be the Serial Killer doublebluffing.

A lot of players are remaining relatively quiet, Sheepeh and Rodafowa for two.

Yeah I was wrong with Mr Russ (sorry) but he brought it on himself, very reckless on his part. Plus I was a tad merry last night!

I still think JBR is something tho, I guess we need to look at who voted for Mr Russ last night, some of them must be mafia.

If we can cross reference them against any other voting for innocents it might give us some clues.

This post will probably earn me death, but whatever it does earn me, you should listen to what I have to say.

Our current stature is that there are 4 mafia, 1 or 2 cultists and a Serial Killer against the townies. Whilst the cult must not be underestimated, the Mafia are our Number One Concern.

LaceSensor is a member of the Mafia.

He must die.

Runcle is a member of the Mafia.

He must die.

Craster is a member of the Mafia.

He must die.

GazChap is a member of the Mafia.

He must die.

Look back to yesterday. Look at how LaceSensor backs up his Mafia colleagues, clearing each one, one at a time of their potential guilt. Look how he collaborates with Runcle to try to cast suspicion elsewhere. Look how they lead the charge against Mr Russ. Look how they manipulate the crowd.

I have placed these Mafia Scum in the order of my certainty of their guilt. We play this now one of four ways.

1 - Malc, you can choose to believe me, and suicide bomb on LaceSensor. If I'm right, the Mafia is in trouble. If I am wrong, we've very probably lost.

2 - Malc, you can choose to disagree with me, think I'm a lying S.O.B. and blow me up. If I'm Mafia it's a 1-1 split and you learn nothing. If I'm innocent, Mafia win.

3 - Malc can hang fire and we lynch LaceSensor. If I'm right, we're on the road to killing the Mafia. If I'm wrong, you can all kill me to death, and I am very sorry.

4 - Malc can hang fire, and we lynch me. This is possible, but if we do, remember who I fingered as Mafia, people.

I leave this difficult decision in your hands.

While I know you're wrong about me at least, I don't know if you're lying or guessing - so there is a 5th option you fail to mention.

We lynch LaceSensor, and Malc blows up you (curiosity). This will tell us both whether you are lying scum, and also whether your guesses are partly on the money.

Here are the folks who voted for both MaliA and Myoptika to swing.

plissken,
zardoz,
lacesensor,
kevr,
gazchap,
spinglo sponglo!

Here are the folks that voted for Mr. Russ.
Gazchap
maliA
runcle
kevr
sheepeh,
craster,
spinglo sponglo

Gazchap and kevR are the only people who appear all three times - with Gazchap delivering the coup de grace yesterday night - and Craster started his vote for MaliA yesterday morning then swapped it to Mr. Russ when the ball started rolling that way, so he's voted for all three too.

It makes no sense to do this simultaneously.

We can only learn by either killing me via bomb/lynch, then seeing what we find out... or killing Lace via bomb/lynch and then seeing what we find out.

Be warned though, if we only lynch him/me, the Mafia get another pop at us straight away... as do the cult, the SK and the Vigilante.

Can the SB explode between the lynch and any night actions? That would solve the problem. Lynch lace, and keep the SB in reserve until we know whether he's a good guy or not.

A scrap of paper is found amongst Joans' belongings. It's looks like a suspicion list.

Quote:
Day 3 - Someone new to talk to.
MaliA did survive the night, but I reckon he's a townie. It's a good mafia tactic to let the town kill their own, and there's no point in them killing MaliA if the town will do it for him.

Oh dear, some early votes for MaliA have suddenly swung to Mr Russ, very suspicious again. If I was an innocent townie (which I'm not, but I still want the mafia out the way), I'd take a good look at the list of people that voted for Mr Russ and MaliA...

Hmm, I think Kalmar's a goodun, might suggest him for a recruit.
Sheepeh, I've got good feelings about him too.
Runcle voted for MaliA, then jumped on the Mr Russ bandwagon, that's one to remember.
LaceSensor stuck with MaliA today, but jumped on the bandwagon yesterday, hmm.
GazChap, seems to have a thing for curiosity, but got the last vote in on Mr Russ?
Spinglo Sponglo! - Explosive personality, suicide bomber or serial killer genius?
JBR, voted for MaliA - not sure
KevR, maybe good, maybe bad
Craster - a little suspect
Plissken - Not sure

Day 4 - Morning world, I was right about Kalmar, but unfortunately he was very popular with a few other people. Og here comes MaliA, he must be taking me for that beer he promised me...

Can the SB explode between the lynch and any night actions? That would solve the problem. Lynch lace, and keep the SB in reserve until we know whether he's a good guy or not.

That would be possible and acceptable.

Well, I've already said on multiple occasions that I'd rather my vote were put to good use rather than being wasted. MaliA, although being on our side, did have a role which would explain why he was more suspicious than others. I'm still suspicious of Curiosity (as I have been for a couple of days now) but his information could be 75% right so I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for now as if we lynch another townie we're stuffed.

Curiosity could be lying to deflect attention away from the real Mafia now that they are the strongest threat to the village. This would tie in with my suspicions, but I can't prove anything so I'm just going to let the day play out and see what happens.

Put your money where your mouth is then, Curio.

I already voted for him.

This is quite fun. If I'm wrong, then I am dooming the town quite spectacularly!

:D

GazChap, KevR and Craster have voted for three innocents to die. GazChap was the last vote that made Mr. Russ swing. That's way better evidence to me than any list of bloody suspicions.

I'm happy to bandwagon anyone on my list.

Especially Craster.

I want Malc to blow someone up.

Preferably Craster or one of the other Mafia-ites.

I didn't actually realise my vote for Russ was going to be the last one needed, if that's any consolation. Why did you vote for MaliA?

Hmm - forget the others, I didn't vote for all three. I didn't vote for Myp. I didn't vote for Mali on day 2, only on day 3 - at which point the town at large had already condemned him once.

So, I voted for Russ. You tell me Russ came across as an innocent man, and I'll laugh in your face.

I'm not keen on Malc blowing himself up unless we're sure he's taking a bad guy with him. We just can't afford to lose a townie at the moment.

You've said you're willing to put yourself on the line - are you backing down now?
