If by bloodthirsty, you mean wanting to take action and not sit around waiting to be picked off, then I guess I am.
We have no protection overnight people, the only thing we can do is take action during the day.

But today it would literally be a random hit, and who knows whether we'd hit a red, green, blue or magenta. If it's a good guy we hit, that means potentially three people lost in one day, and we've only got 15 to start off with.

Potentially more than three people, depends entirely on how many Magenta people there are out there. And if the revolutionaries each get a hit.

But if we don't vote, we'll be in exactly the position we are in now, but with one less good person.

Problem is Troop, this is likely to still be the outcome if we DO vote. :p

I agree, it is likely, but we have to take risks and vote, it's the only power we have.

Yes but since we don't have a protection roll I don't see us getting any useful information from the blues for a few days at least, it would be crazy for any role claim, so I am siding with troops. We should evict someone, even a random will give us voting information to look at in later days, with a no-vote day we get nothing apart from giving the reds more time to pick us off.

In a ideal world we would get 2 people upto the edge, but we always seem to struggle getting votes early on.

It benefits no one but the reds and magentas for us not to vote, even if we do evict a green.

If I am still under the effects of the herbs and am misunderstanding please explain where I am going wrong.

Because that's very red, trying to stop someone being killed unnecessarily.

I would never argue for a nolynch on any other day, but for the first day where we literally have nothing to go on, I don't see the problem.

That's what the bad guys always say when towns wake up to tragedy, according to the libraries archives where I've been doing some research. Those that suggest it always turn out to be bad 'uns. It's a massive RED flag. You're a RED!

I'd go for GazChap, as Goddess Jasmine hasn't suggested not doing anything (aside from not, well, y'know), which gives the FILTHLY REDS and the EVIL MAGENTA a free hit. not doing so could arouse suspicion.

Well, seems I'm pretty much a dead cert for being... err... well, dead.

Don't vote me off, any greens will regret it. Of course, with no protective roles, there's little point in me roleclaiming as I'd be a dead cert for being killed overnight.

And probably will anyway, now.

Bloody pillocks.

Also, voting for me means that you'll be at least two goodies down by the start of the morning (assuming both the reds and the magenta(s) target greens.)

Not true at all - because if you roleclaim and we believe you, we'll lynch someone else.

So, I'm assuming from the above that you have a role to claim?

Right. So you die either way. If you roleclaim, we get a free lynch. If you don't, the bad guys get a free murder.

Read my previous post, the only information we can get from Day 1 is voting patterns, later in the game it will help the survivors to look back and possibly spot any patterns from people who are voting as a group. If we sit and do nothing then we just end up giving the reds a free nights kill while hoping that the blues get lucky and investigate a red or magenta

Whats more suss to me was your comment about the 'revolution' earlier to trooper, the only people who want revolution are the reds, the magentas just want us all dead.

Gaz if you have a role claim then its probably better to do it, it may save you (Though I doubt it) from the lynch and even though you would be more than likely killed tonight that would save another townie getting killed.

Yeah, I suppose in this situation it's best for me to roleclaim.

I'm the Chief of Police.

If I die overnight (which I surely expect to), at least my deputy will get my night action. Whether he'll be told the information I find out overnight (assuming my night action comes before kill in the order) I don't know.

I know it is. However, you seemed convinced that it wasn't, and were only concerned about dying. If you were green or blue, you'd be concerned about doing the best thing for the good guys.
