Bah, I missed a whole lot it seems! All that vote counter nonsense and about 2 hours after, I obviously skimmed over!

Oh well,

that's the bane of my limited posting.

I can see why trooper might think that I'm suspect, but I still think that his list thing is an odd thing, and because of that my vote sticks.

It's more the point that I've given everyone 2 bloody pages as to why Malc is a bad guy, and your argument is to go for Flis because she is a girl and the Borg queen is a girl...

Jeez, I give up!

From what I understand of what you've put you're saying that Malc is posting an exact amount not to arouse suspicion but is arousing suspicion in the fact he's posting non suspiciously?
This is making my slightly hungover head hurt! [vote:unvote]

Combine that with his reaction to the accusation, and that I was going after him yesterday, and that I was roleblocked last night.

Hmmm ok... seems pretty good evidence. Do we have anyone else claiming to have been investigated/roleblocked or anything yet or has it just been you so far?

I hadn't seen SGs post. Something silly about girls might be a good way to go! Who knows! we really don't have much to go on apart from troopers fossing at malc... and now HoE has been Modkilled it could be a one horse race for who goes, if anyone goes today.

Perhaps if your read the thread, you might see that ideas Trooper has..

hence I FOS you, because it is a good trick to cause confusion and look like you are posting by just asking what is going on.. etc

Trooper's idea is erm... I don't know, I don't believe post count is directly related to role.
I don't think someone will purposly be posting x number of posts a day to look like they are contributing but aren't actually.
I'll wait and see what other people say on the matter. But for now Im going to stick to my vote with you kovacs as I just don't trust you to be part of the crew/civies onboard.

So if Trooper and DavPaz have both been roleblocked and we had kills both nights does that put them above suspicion? In which case we can ask one of them to pick a name at random to vote for and follow them, knowing that their vote isn't biassed.

If the roleblock puts them above suspicion. Zaphod would tell me which roles we also need to be aware of. Maybe Craster can tell me.

and even if they were telling the truth, they could be the borg queen, they could be a romulan that didn't kill anyone that night. Highly sus of Russ after that, he's probably working with one of Trooper or DP, I'm gonna go with trooper.

So Trooper, The Vision and Russ in a tree K I S S I N G

Also a vote for Flis will find us out two things, firstly who she is, but it will also give us a bit more info on DavPaz. Flis voted for him on day 1, which means it is unlikely they are on the same side.
.

Reaction: Provoked :D

The timing of my posts so far has purely been because that's when I've had free time, along with being aware that I need to read through the log and express an opinion at some stage. My research is very difficult and needs lots of concentration so I tend to turn my comms link to 'silent mode' when I'm busy.

Erm...all that means is that DavPaz and I cant communicate outside of the public comms system? So we can certainly be on the same side, why make that statement unless you have a team that you're working on?

Surveying the logs from the past couple of days, you have roused quite a few peoples suspicions. I'm going to see if I can figure anything out from that, either about their possible alliances or yours. At the moment, you are sticking out to me more than anyone else.

But then, I also suspect Malc...he could just be a little cabin feverish I guess, he does have a history of being a little strange in holodeck murder mysteries I have played with him previously so perhaps his current behaviour is just in his nature? I definitely have him on my radar though.

Indeed, in no way am I above suspicion because I was roleblocked, and the only person who knows that to be true is a Romulan...

I will say again, I am a civilian. Am I working with DP or Russ? No.

What I have done is a pretty ballsy move to raise myself so far above the parapet so early in the game if I have a power role.

Openly colluding at an early stage would be a daft move for bad guys, so I'm willing to throw my lot in with the TrooperPaz combine.

Morning all. Had a nice lie in today. Time in lieu is good. Going to have a long hard think over this one, but bafflingly my FOS is both Malc and Flis. (Can you point one finger at two people? They'd have to be hugging I guess.) I want to hear more Trooper stuff with him tapping his pipe on the mantlepiece of the holodeck drawing room and shouting j'accuse! Though of course this Space-Poirot could then beckon Hastings over and then jam molecular tubes into his neck, pumping him full of icky nanites. Or something. Whatever, he's making it pretty interesting at least.

For now: [vote: Flis] because she only appeared when directly threatened and has been suspiciously quiet.

I shall look again this late lunchtime, when I have both a computer and a break to use it.

I am a lone wolf. I can confirm.

Is this the post we look back on and go 'so he did sneakily role claim as the Borg Queen after all'?

If he was a civilian, would he consider himself a lone wolf or part of a pack?

I've only skim read stuff this morning but I'm sticking with my vote from yesterday.

Erm, okay, why is everyone seemingly ignoring the fact that Data can rolelock as well as the romulans? [vote:Trooper] his argument against malc makes so little sense it is untrue, also, the drawing of the line at The vision, made no sense, as to be deliberate. However, if I were a bad guy, I would do that so if I were lynched The Vision would be next.

So he can! Totally missed that, but so did others it seems, does that change anything? Possibly, let me have a think.

Right, that drops malc down to "highly probable bad guy" from "certain bad guy" for me, so it won't switch my vote.

Ok then, lets make this interesting.

I am a civilian.

I suggest that there are two people up for the vote today, myself and Malc.
If Malc goes and turns out to be a bad guy, then we have a lot of info to go on around who was ignoring my theory and who was openly against me.
If I go, you will see I was a good guy and the same stands, there is a lot of info and posts for the rest of you to trawl through and work out who was trying to discredit me.
If Malc does turn out to be good, as slim as that chance is, then I expect to be airlocked tomorrow anyway, and you will still see that I am a civilian and have a lot of info to go on, even if it will be a day late and probably reversed! :D

I don't expect to survive the night as a civilian, unless the doctor protects me, but I suggest they don't, i'm not a good power role and it would be a waste.
I'll most likely be dead or a borg by this time tomorrow, so if I am still alive you almost certainly can't trust me going forward after today.

Vote people, me or Malc.

just had a skim read through and lots has happened [vote:unvote] for now as i re-read the lot of it and work it out.

But Trooper calling for a match up of him vs Malc...i don't know what to make of it, if Malc is a Romulan/Borg then we have a good blow, but what if it is the reverse and Trooper is, if he is the Borg then they could then have 4 borg votes tomorrow, would that be enough people defending Troopers position to swing it, would they make a push this soon in the game?

Just my initial impressions from skimreading it all though, so i may have gotten the wrong end of the stick? Anyone else with more time fancy telling me how i am wrong? ;)
