Also, Bobby and Craster. Curiosity always kills the people he knows best, something to do with his knowing inferiority I guess. If thats right, he'll hit me tomorrow if he isn't lynched tonight, but that would be a bad move.

Hmmm *ponders*

Still pondering? I don't trust you i'm afraid, surely your next move after those thoughts would be to vote for someone, either nickachu or curiosity.
What are you waiting for?

5pm? ;)

Waiting for a bandwagon to turn up? Afraid to stand on your own convictions?

Well, I'm not. I don't like the way you are playing.

[vote:ApplePieOfDestiny]

Understandable I guess. In the town of the deaf-mutes, the one tongued man is loud. Or something.

I'm swaying away from Curiosity, but now I'm confused why Kalmar is going for The Vision. This is too obvious a play to assume he is the detective.

You've got to pick someone nick.

Here's my reasoning:
1) Read back yesterday. His comments are very sparse and frankly a bit suspicious. He accuses a few people, then votes for me for not liking beards. Craster did the same as a joke (he has a beard), but this just seems like bandwagoning.

Then you nick, point out that this is a bit odd.

2) Then, a real slip. He *accuses* SDG of being the cop! WTF? A townie would never do that! I call him on it and he goes silent for the rest of the game - also dead suspicious.

I have another thought too but will save it for now.

So, I have strong suspicions that he's bad - I'm not sure what, but he's not a townie. I can't see anyone else who's been as dodgy other than Malc, and for the moment I'm undecided about him.

3) Plus - SDG is killed by the mafia that night! If she was his best guess at the cop, that ties in - and it makes him scum.

I've really stuck my neck out here but wtf, I'd die for this town :(

Kalmar, there's another posibility there. He might not be evil.

Though I have no better suspicions myself.

Hi,

Malc here, did I ever tell you I'm a man? I did? Well, you can never be too sure I suppose, so, I must admit, I'm very confused, I'm not really sure what's going on to be honest (and as a man, I make sure I'm honest all the time, it's not like they don't know when you're lying, so what's the point in even trying?)

I have a few inklings, but, at the moment I'm not sure, but when does that stop us men huh? When it could get us killed, that's when.

So, I'm back off to my Gym/Gymn however it's spelt! to become even more manly, I know, how is that even possible?

Malc the man

Hmm. Here's a thought.

If we assume that Malc is a loonie, who did the Jailer investigate last night? More to the point, why didn't he investigate Malc? If he did investigate Malc, then he isn't the Loonie, and is either a prize cock, or someone in disguise.

Why would the looney behave obviously like a looney? That's the last thing they want to do - if the jailer catches them they lose.

There seems to be a certain amount of diversionary waffle going on, and not much voting. We've got killers to nail here, and the odds are stacked against us. I've posted some good reasoning above.

Nick does seem a little dodgy. If I was in mafia with him I'd be telling him to ramp up excuses about being new to cover any slips.

Kalmars evidence against thevision is compelling though and makes me wonder why he too has been so forthcoming with it. Plus malc still sounds dodgy.

I am not a loonie, I am a man, I am proud to be a man, and I just have to tell everyone of my maleness, it's a compulsion.

I am not a prize cock, but I do prize my cock, it's quite impressive, it reflects me perfectly!

Also, I am not in disguise, I am quite transparent, I am a man plain and simple. I just happen to be proud of that fact and want to share it with the world, or at least this town.

Malc

Because I'm damn frustrated about sitting on our hands until we get led the wrong way by a block vote. It happens time and again in towns throughout history. Someone needs to make a stand.
If nobody bites (because of gentle dissuasion by the target's mates) then I'm fucked, and it will have been for nothing.

I only sound dodgy if you are unhappy with men being men, you're not uncomfortable with your sexuality are you?

Also, what's with the bit I bolded (made more manly)?

As a man I find this very suspect, infact I have heard of people doing this exact thing in the past.

And the Malc thing is a diversion, stop wasting time on it.

He's obviously been forced by "the conventions of our society" to blather on incessantly about his gender identity, or whatever.

Badguys don't stick their necks out with outspoken or outlandish stuff like that, unless it's Dimrill.

I've seen all The Godfather films, and watched all of The Sopranos, and I don't remember there ever being a female goon or godfather. Is it safe to assume that the 3 mafia members are all male?
If so, is claiming to be a man a sensible thing to be doing?

This is very interesting.

So far Malc is either doing a good Dimrill re-enactment and could be the Don for all we know, or is simply having fun as a vanilla (albeit male) townie.
Nickachu is making it to the FOS list because of various wierdness.

Im quite happy to have Kalmar in the game as he is driving it in the right direction it seems. Taking a stand is of course good, however Im not even 50% convinced on whom to sling up today but I definitely feel a time out / no-lynch would be folly.

unless something else springs up Im going to [vote: nickachu]

applying pressure is always useful...

We do actually have to lynch people to have any chance of winning, DavPaz. There's not that much time left - you should put a vote in or explain why you think this is wrong.

After all, there's plenty of people who would be happy to see the day time out, having not implicated themselves by voting, or risked losing one of their own.

as demonstrated last night, no lynch then 3 dead townsfolk :(
if we'd have lynched an SK, we'd be one more person up

from what ive read today is pretty much the same as yesterday with maybe a couple people acting odd.
its a shot in the dark, but its the tool we have right now

I don't need to vote to get a lynch. I've seen no evidence from anyone that they're bad. I suspect the Mafia are just laying low. Crappy tactics, in tern of enjoyment of the game, but effective.

I agree we need to lynch somebody, but with no obvious looking target and only 3 and a half hours left its going to be difficult to see one person getting 12 votes.
