Yeah, me too. How about combining it with Trooper's latest rules and have the day end when everyone has placed a vote (or once the deadline has been reached) and the person with the majority gets lynched?

The other idea I wanted to trial was no day length, the days just run until there is a majority...

But if people know they have to vote to get progress, then I would hope that would get them voting?

Not if I was hiding. if there's no real personal risk to me, I'd be happy to let other people stick their neck out votes wise, especially if I was a mafia trying to hide.

EDIT: Or an innocent townie trying not to get lynched.

My other idea was an endless day game, with no night actions.

15+ townies, a few mafia, the mafia can kill 1 person every 24 hours. As soon as there is a majority the person voted is lynched and voting starts again immediately.
