The bastards have said they'll soon kill us all, you want to sit back - how can you have the gall?

The Mafia left a note, yes, but did they sign it? Do we have any idea who we should be targetting here? No!

Have you looked at those gallows we have set up? I though that everyone here was my neighbours and I love this town because it is so quiet and peaceful with friendly people and community spirit, I'm not about to vote to KILL someone based on nothing but idle speculation! This is real life man!

Sounds like the words of someone who's bad; a cleared signal we could not have had. Letting them kill us seems all rather silly, so I'll have to say we should all [vote:Gilly]

I think perhaps you are forgetting who you are Mr Russell (who are you actually, anyway?). Are you seriously trying to tell me that as a resident of this lovely little town your first reation upon seeing our mayor has been killed is to vote to hang someone? Because it isn't mine. I am going to wait and see what the night brings and hope that the police or soemthing have heard what is going on here and are sending help. I'm not going to vote for one my neighbours to be sent to their death when it is just a shot in the dark. If things go bad through the night then maybe we will be able to make a more reasoned decision but currently, as it stand we have nothing.
I'm not condemning someone to death based on nothing, this isn't a game.

I'm actually appalled that with the town still suffering financially, and the punitive rates of tax, we've found the money to pay for a shiny set of gallows. Couldn't we have made something a bit less, y'know, ostentatious in these troubled times? If we need to lynch people we could just tie people to the back of a truck and drive around until their dismembered corpse falls apart.

I do the accounts for all the businesses in this town, and you of all people, with your low profits and spending cuts should have got the town hall to rein this spending in.

Are you speaking to me, the crazy janitor, or the dead mayor? Oh, or the whole town? My hat shop is doing quite well, especially after the Duchess or Cambridge's family decided to use me as supplier for hats and fascinators for the wedding in April. I got to go on This Morning for the wedding special and everything, that Philip Scofield really is a lovely man.

Did they have to be made of Gold, and wifi enabled though? I'd be tempted to lynch someone just to get some moneys worth out of them.

Getting to the end of the day, I think its in our best interest to state our intentions. My intention is to not vote. If you havent decided who to go for then just man up and say it.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to call last orders soon, night is coming and I'm sure we all want to be tucked up in our beds.

So ends a tumultuous yet unproductive day. Tomorrow should be more informed...

As the day drifts to a close, there does not seem to be agreement on whether these attacks will continue, or if it was a one-off, and even amongst those who wish to see action taken, there is no consensus regarding a target.

People look to start filtering back to their homes; there will be no lynching today.

But what will the night bring to the citizens of Grumblington-on-the-Wold?

Night actions can then immediately be performed, and night will last until 11am Wednesday, unless all actions are received prior to this time.
