Oh and a question for Riker when he gets here - when you have at least one investigation role (possibly 2) why kill someone when you dont know if they are good or bad ?
It would have been just as easy to investigate me and if i was bad push a little and i'd have been lynched the next day.

I'll field this one before reading the rest of the thread.
Selfishness, pure and simple. :) After HoEs modkill, I didn't know if there were anymore red shirts in the game, and I was the only crew member left, so had we investigated you and you were a bad guy, I might have been killed.
Also, you really were acting like a bad guy. :p

The Aliens, under lone warrior Joans, win!

Zaphod and Davpaz are dummest od DACS! D'oh...

That was awesome, I mercilessly slaughtered pretty much my entire team, then prayed for one of you to vote for the other one.
I think my only communication with the other aliens was "sorry, I'm going to have to vote for you", day after day.

Obviously at that stage we didnt know how many bridge crew were around and yes in that scenario killing (or getting Worf killed) makes sense.

By the time it got round to killing Myp, the possibility that Worf had been borged had entered my head, so with the numbers that I thought we had, I didn't think I could go wrong.
Hilariously, I was going to go for one of 6 people (5 bad guys and the Vision), before completely changing my mind and going for Myp.

Pete, hence me shouting about him being a bad guy.
And we investigated you on the first night, which is why I said you weren't the queen or a Romulan.

Yeah, I figured that.

OK, acceptable. I would have been peeved if Gos the borgified red shirt had died whilst investigating a borg.

Reading back over day 5 and knowing that there weren't 4 borg and it was perfectly possible for us to get a proper lynch, I blame the entire thing on the Vision for popping into the thread at a point where Gos was on 4 votes and posting
Quote:
This isn't looking good for the good guys is it? I'm sticking with my vote for Malc for now but I reckon today is going to go to a time out which ultimately, could seal it for the Borg.

Which led to the good guys thinking he had to be a bad guy, and getting him lynched.

I'll let Russ post the link to the google doc that we (mostly) used to communicate from, as he set it up.

Mmm, I was very surprised when he turned out to be a civvy. For a good guy, a lot of his posts were very suspicious.

Had SG Borged Bobby on the final night, there would have been a day phase with 1 Starfleet Officer, 1 Borg Queen and 1 Romulan Goon.

Which would have been awesome.

I assume Joans would have offered SG a draw by lynching Malc.

Also, it's amazing how often you put a tiny little thing in the rules that ends up being massively important. In this case, Riker being immune to the Borg very nearly changed it completely.

If you hadn't told me there was another red shirt left, I'd probably have cowered in my room on night 5. You did sort of give away that they'd been borged as well.

How much of it is just Russ calling me a massive cunt?

Thanks for running this Curio, don't think I've ever gone so early in the week before!

Was good fun reading it though. :)

Am I correct in saying there wasn't a single explicit role claim in the entire game? That has to be a first?

I was going to do a fake role claim of Guinan or O'Brian, but didn't really have the time to work it out...

either claiming I was allowed to ask one yes/no question per day and Curio would answer, or that I had access to the teleporter logs or something like that...

You know, I don't think I told my Romulan crew to target one person who didn't turn out to be a civilian, despite trying to hit Borgies. Oops. ?:|

Sorry Malc! :D
