But earlier in the day you said that you would roleblock me tonight. This doesn't tally with the plan you say you've been executing now. The rest of what you're saying seems to sum to "I'm not a cultist, because", and "The cult will think I'm not really the scientist despite virtually conclusive evidence I am, because". That's not really even reasoning.

The following post assumes I believe everything Grim... says. This is probably not true.

I think he means he'd PM'd you for the in advance pick in case he wasn't around. Now he knows the SK, he'll just block them. He can always PM cras to change his pick.

Can I just point out that regardless of who is or isn't the SK (and it really isn't me. I've no idea who it is - could even be Mr Angry Dudley for all I know), the scientist is the second best convert for the cult leader after the vigilante, and the vigilante's dead. And Grim... admitted to being the scientist on day 1 - if I were the cult leader I'd have recruited him that night. And grim... blocked dimmers, who clearly isn't the cult leader, but may well be a fellow cultist by now.

Also just occurred on properly reading grim...'s posts in this thread - Grim has announced that he's going to keep blocking me if I'm still alive, more or less, as he reckons I'm the SK (which I'm still not, despite his and Dudley's accusations). Now, whilst he's doing that the cult leader is free to recruit whoever he likes. So if Grim... suspects Dimmers is the cult leader, as he says he does, why isn't he blocking the single biggest threat to the town then, eh?

Also - I'd forgotten how good a film The Matrix is. Shame about the sequels.

Also (and damn the lack of edits here, as that's what I usually do as my thoughts arrive slowly and in seperate packages) he's just given the REAL killer a cue to sit back and do nothing for a few nights to make me look guiltier, if I don't swing tonight.

So he's helping the cult directly, as he's not blocking them (so they'll grow stronger, which at this stage is the major threat) and helping the SK indirectly as he's safe from suspicion as Grim... is framing me.

I think you are up to no good, sir. I agree that Grim... is quite possibly cult by now, but then again they may have left him alone as too obvious a target once he outed himself. On the other hand most things you have said since Grim... claimed to roleblock you the very first night we had no SK kill have sounded like a desperate flailings to distract everyone.

Oh come on. That sounds hella-desperate and you've made yourself a total SK target into the deal. You can't even keep your end of that promise; you can't block the cult's expansion unless you 100% know who the leader is and you can't know that because, even if you do roleblock the leader one turn, you won't know. Not like when someone roleblocks you and the next day there is no SK kill and it suggest you are the SK; with the cult leader, recruitment is a silent event. So you couldn't reliably block the cult anyway.

We don't even know there is a mafia roleblocker here!

Incorrect, all lynchings are final once a majority has been reached. The fact Craster hasn't arrived to lock the thread is immaterial, any other mod can (and should) lock it on his behalf in the meantime.

Seeing as I've got nothing to lose - I roleblocked last night, too, by the way. I roleblocked Taxalot - I'm pretty sure he's the SK, and it's always the quiet ones, as comical has pointed out.

I could block him tonight to prove it, if you want. Alternatively, let's get a consensus on who our L Ron Hubbard is and I'll block them. That should assuage Mr Gaywood's apparnet issues.

Given that the quiet players have, so far in this game and throughout the last game, avoided being lynched or killed, it'd be a bloody sensible course of action for the SK.

Well Chris, before you die, if Grim is lying about roleblocking you, and you being the SK, the only way the SK could have not killed was for YOU to block him. So who is it? I flat out refuse to believe the SK wouldn't choose to kill.

Despite valiently argueing his corner, Mr Chris ends up with the villagers against him, and stares his death in the face. He smiles slightly at the irony. He is taken to the tall cliff face at the outskirts of the village (running out of ways to lynch people, here) and held at the edge of the precipice. "You fools, " he snarles as they push him to the edge, "I wasn't done. MY WORK WASN'T DOOOOOOONNNNE". A satisfying crunch announces his end. The villagers run to his house to confirm their suspicions (why does no-one ever check the house before killing people? You lot are nutters). Inside they find a gruesome collection. Body parts, tools, surgical implements, and torture paraphernalia.

Mr Chris was the Serial Killer.
