Even if Mr Chris is the SK, to my mind the cult is a far bigger threat to the townies than the SK at the moment.

Well say the doctor was brought back, the SK and mafia would be after them, but the scientist would protect. It might be interesting. Even if the mafia is lynched, the mafia effectively gain a free day without one of their previous member getting stretched.

Well Grim... can't be the cult leader, but he could be a cultist. Given the choice between a cult pawn and someone who might kill me overnight, I think I'll vote for who I think is the SK. Unless I see some interesting evidence to sway my vote, I'm sticking with it.

CrapLogic. This is a possibility, but an extremely unlikely one. The Cultists almost certainly will have three members by now, and probably have at least four. It's massively unlikely they've failed to recruit consistantly, especially when there's a large number of quasi-confirmed townies with hugely powerful roles about.

Here's what I think: Dimrill is the cult leader. He would have, as everybody said, tried to get me on night 1, but I roleblocked him and it didn't work. He'd have only been told "you can't recruit Grim..." so may have assumed I was the SK or the Mafia and not tried again.
I will roleblock him tonight as well, but I suspect I will end up shot by a certain lawyer.

Rather only if everyone thinks the cult is as big as I suspect, which probabilisticly it's quite likely to be. I don't think the cult would think you were lying about your role, either, given you claimed you roleblocked him really quite early on, and nobody's counterclaimed your scientist role since day 1, and in fact you quoted a mod conversation in the other thread discussing your role. The cult will not think you are lying about your role if they have a brain.

Also. I don't see how it's consistant to simultaneously say that the cult isn't a threat and that we're fucked if we lynch you. If you are telling the truth about your roleblocking, you intend to roleblock random people for some time. I don't see how that makes you more valuable than any other townie- if anything, it could make you less valuable, since it looks like all kills are currently being blocked anyway and you won't know if you've hit the Cult Leader. In fact it seems from what you're saying that you think you know who the CL is, but you haven't targeted him since Day 1. That style of play makes no sense- it looks like a fabricated story rather than the play a player would actually take.

Granted - but if you were the culty boss, would you risk your one shot that night? I could be the Mafia roleblocker for all they know.

But they - the cult - have several brains. Either the leader acts on his own, which means he's almost as in the dark as the rest of us, or it could be similar to the massed but varying suspicions on here. I doubt they feel any more clued up than the rest of us - or won't until they know they've won, in any case, which does (I agree with you here) seem fairly likely at the mo.

Not really - I was roleblocking to try and find the SK (which I believe I've now done, and I'm not the only one by the look of things).

I'd also like to note that I thought my SK hunt was quite clever, and it sucks that half of you don't want to do anything about it now I've found him.
