It's another beautiful day in the utopian Eco-dome.

Everything is perfect. Nobody is dead. There's nothing to see here.

Of course, the more eagle eyed denizen of Utopia would spot a missing Gilly. Were they near the church they would see a dead body, stabbed a load of times and daubed in red paint.

And she was simply a Green

But hush, this is Utopia!

A lovely, lovely day. Citizen.

[playerlist]
Mr Russell
MaliA
Trooper
DavPaz
Grim...
GazChap
Kovacsc
Slightly Green
Bobbyaro
Craster
Zaphod79
Malc
Alarm
Goddess Jasmine
[/playerlist]

Day Two ends when someone is put to the Mayor for eviction, or if the timer hits 10pm Wednesday night.

Poor poor Gilly.

<Does the 'stabbed a load of times and daubed in red paint' mean that Gilly was a green killed by the reds? or a Red killed by the Magenta? Does Magenta even have a kill ability?>

So no kill on Gaz, so

1. He is a red and they obviously won't kill one of their own.
2. He was telling the truth and the Reds decided to not kill him as they will try to get him lynched today.
3. He was lieing with the role claim to save himself and has played us all (whilst probably wasting a investigate if this is the case)

But as I said yesterday the biggest FoS I see is MaliA, who seems to have lost his logic and selectively reads what he wants from peoples post while disregarding very valid and important stuff. So until more information is shaken out [vote:MaliA]

Agree entirely, am very interested to hear what he has to say but also think MaliA was being a special kind of suspicious yesterday.

It says in the rules thread that Magenta has a night kill.

So two night actions and only one death. The only person safe from a night action is the mayor, isn't it?
Does that means magenta knows who the mayor is now?

I'll bite on that. Either you're playing a clever game in which case you go down next, or you've found the Magenta really early.

The only "valid and important stuff" from GazChap yesterday was "I'm a cop". He then decides to investigate Grim.... I'd be interested in hearing his decision behind that.

On the basis of wanting a no lynch and investigating Grim whilst not mentioning that investigations are not foolproof as Red evidence can be planted, I'm still with

[vote:GazChap]

He did say he was.

Maybe the thinking behind it is "If I survive the night, I'll call someone out as Magenta which will get them lynched. One of the Reds will start on MaliA, and hope the crowd gets rid of him, and then the Reds are two up knowing who the Mayor is now".

I'm very suspicious of Gaz, and Slightly Green and Russ for jumping in early on this.

MaliA you are looking more and more dodgy, the Green Miscreant can plant RED evidence which would lead to someone showing up as Red to the investigator, surely Magenta, Green and Blue are the colour results from a investigation we can trust. You seem to be wilfully misunderstanding rules and only taking things into account that fit the viewpoint that you seem to be trying to push onto us.

I am still not sure that Gazchap is on the level but as Mr Russ has pointed out it is easy to check now. We vote Grim... off and see what colour he is? Can't think of all the ramifications of what may happen at the moment, will look again later.

Although I am fairly sure that MaliA is scumm I will [vote:unvote] for now as we have a possible lead, depending on what Gaz actually is.

I was. But then I had a change of heart, thinking that unless Mali is playing a significant double-bluff, he wouldn't be stupid enough to put his head that far above the parapet on the first day.

Grim... seemed relatively non-committal yesterday, with the whole "I'll happy switch votes closer to night time" stuff. Smacked of wanting to be "seen" enough to avoid suspicion, but without jumping on a vote bandwagon.

But, you know what? You guys go ahead and do your voting.

I'm the blue Chief of Police. Grim... is a Magenta. These are two facts. I can't really say anything to make you guys believe otherwise. Whoever you vote to lynch from either Grim... or myself, you'll find that I'm telling the truth.

If you lynch me, I'm dead and can be of no further use to you, but my deputy can still gather information even if he can't give it publicly.

If you lynch Grim..., he's dead, the bad guys have one less killer role, but the reds will more than likely choose to get rid of me sooner rather than later on the off-chance that I investigate one of them.

So, the way I see it, I'm dead no matter what I do. However, if you go for Grim... then at least there'll be one less killer on the loose.

I give you my word.

And had GazChap investigated me last night, as he said he would, he would have found out I was green. So there's another reason not to trust him. He's a red, as is Slightly Green. They are working together.

Of course I'm going to be paranoid when tehre are evil revolutionairies on the loose trying to get rid of all that is dear to me.

Well the other option some seem to be plumping for is to vote off Gaz who has Role claimed as Police and given us a name of a supposed Magenta player. I am struggling to see a good reason not to vote for Grim... as this will prove or disprove Gaz. MaliAs idea of voting off Gaz to disprove him is the other way of doing it, but since MaliA seems very unstable I am not inclined to do anything he suggests.

If we evict Gaz and he is Blue then Grim... is Magenta and MaliA looks very dodgy and we have lost a key town role.

If we evict Gaz and he isn't Blue then Grim...could be anything (could still be Magenta), also Gaz would most likely be a Red in this instance, or a crazy green i guess.

If we evict Grim... and he is Magenta then Gaz is proven to be Blue by proxy(or a very very lucky guess), MaliA looks very dodgy and we have removed a evil kill role.

If we evict Grim... and he isn't Magenta then Gaz is proven to be a fraud and we lynch him tomorrow, we loose Grim...(whichever role he is) and Red/Magenta get another night

I am sure there are more options but I need coffee.

MaliA wrote:

I understand his explanation from above, you have been acting so damn crazy that the FoS is firmly on you anyway. Personally I hope your Red because if your not your doing a bloody great job of helping them hide with your strange method of throwing as much shit around as you can until someone finally looks dirtier than you.

MaliA wrote:

Screw you man, I am green through and through, I don't know if i trust Gaz but I damn well know I don't trust you, as a few other people have also indicated that your unbalanced irrational behaviour is also worrisome your shit throwing seems to be infective in covering your glowing redness

MaliA wrote:

There is a massive difference between paranoid and bat shit mental.

Over all I think i am leaning towards voting Grim... unless he has a better response than 'trust me'.

Yep i agree, but he has now come back today after 'investigating' Grim... overnight and has come back with him supposedly being a Magenta.

We didn't have a Magenta kill last night, the only way I can see that happening is that the Magenta targeted the Mayor or didn't perform the night action in time. Since the thread started ahead of schedual then the night action was put in.

So today we are left with trusting Gaz who has pointed out someone who not only has a anti town kill action but who also knows who our good mayor is. We can prove or disprove Gaz and Grim... by voting off either of them, if we are to loose one I personally would prefer top loose a possible bad un rather than a possible good un. So unless Grim... has a better argument for himself then my vote will be for him in this coin toss.

MaliA, can you please explain why you seem to prefer the idea of killing off a potential good guy in this?

1) He wanted a no lynch very early on, yesterday. Huge FOS as a no lynch on day one only benefits the reds
2) He roleclaimed the most powerful role he could do when it got a bit dicey.
3) He claims to have uncovered the serial killer with his investigative powers. Given the serial killer knows who the mayor is, this isn't a great problem, right now, as the mayor is currently protected.

These are all HUGE claims to make, at the times when he needed them most. He's a red, and using the fear of 'losing a powerful character' to keep him alive, whislt his red friends throw doubt on to me for pointing this out.

He's red, red, and red all through.

If we lynch gaz
Gaz - red, we take out a bad guy, doesn't give us any info about grim...
Gaz - blue, we lose a good guy, take out grim.. tomorrow
Gaz - magenta, no chance, not now he has named another as magenta.

If we lynch grim...
Grim - red, unlikely to be the case, as gaz has to be red or blue, no way he would lie if he was blue or call out grim as magenta if he was red.
Grim - blue, we lose a good guy, we take out gazchap tomorrow
Grim - magenta, we take out a bad guy, we know we can trust gazchap, but it makes no difference as he would be dead overnight.

It doesn't make a huge difference either way as I see it?

So all we can do is go back to who is most likely to be telling the truth. What are the odds of gazchap being red? 1 in 5 or close to that? What are the odds of him being the chief of police? 1 in 15? What are the odds of him them investigating and finding a bad guy on the first night? 1 in 3 or close enough. Seems mighty convenient to me...

I agree with troops analysis but it seems wrong to vote for the side of the coin claiming to be good over the side accused of being evil so i will [vote:Grim...] for now but will switch to Gaz if my vote is needed for a eviction as we really need to evict one of them today so we can start un-knoting this.

You seem to have mistyped "....will vote for Grim right now, to see if anyone bites on that to save my red friend, Gaz, but if that doesn't work, then i'll cover by switching my vote at the last minute, so when he turns out red I can say "but I voted for him! The deciding vote" in my defence" as you're deffo sus, too, with all this prevaricating over Gaz's status. Of being a red.

Your apology tomorrow is going to be epic.

I suspect he's not so much trying to get you lynched as he's trying to distance himself from you.

If GazCap was the chief of police, he'd be dead.

This is, of course, what the reds are clearly playing at. Keeping me alive to discredit me.

It won't work again though, because whether it's Grim... or myself that gets lynched today, I'll be vindicated and they'll not be able to keep me alive in case I investigate one of them.

Right, this is a message for the Mayor, whoever you are:

If I'm up for the lynch - do NOT veto it. As much as I'd like to stay alive, if I'm voted off then I have to go to prove my innocence and Grim...'s guilt, otherwise we'll end up with the no lynch situation and this time there really will be no useful information gained.

I still maintain that a no lynch yesterday was a viable option simply to reduce the number of potential good guys lost in a situation where we don't know how much of a majority we have over the bad guys, but it's not what we need now.

There really is no evidence either way, but...I just don't believe you, GazChap. Sorry.

At this point, I'm beyond it. I've resigned myself to death, one way or the other, I just wish I could still be alive to see the looks on your faces when you wake up to more deaths and a serial killer still on the loose.

gazchap: 6 (MaliA, Trooper, Grim..., DavPaz, Craster, KovacsC)
