I know nothing massively useful, other than my previously expounded theories.

Ok, thanks for confirming you have no investigative role.

[vote:Curiosity]

Why aye pet, you're a danger to the town, aren't you?

That's very clearly not what I said. You shouldn't be trying to out Townie power roles you fuckwit.

Why, of course not old bean. Are you role claiming as one?

I'm not role claiming anything unless I have to, obviously.
Which role do you think I am?

Why wouldn't they have gone for GazChap?

I assuem they did and would therefore be easy to RB.

Ooh, that's a very valid point.

Ah! No. I'm not sure what makes you think me being targeted is any different from Curio being targeted, but he's right, you don't get given any real information.

Curio, have you had any further information? I'm wondering if we stay infected now or does it just last for a day? My suspicion is the former and that it is some sort of cult equivalent but without being able to talk to each other (or what is the point?).

Are the infected something like the 'cult' do you think? I can't see what they do, but it would be weird if it didn't lead to something... I am happy to vote for either GJ or curio on the basis of learning something, but I do think that Russell is dodgy in his lack of action.

For the same reason Zaphod and/or Saturnalian.

Post subject:  Re: LazyScum Day 3

The justice droid theory is a good one, and does make sense. It could be Curio who had the Justice Froud act on them in the first day, assuming this wouldn't make the poisoning action bad on day one. However, curio did say 'I think I d been poisoned' which maybe he wouldn't admit if he knew it was his role turned on him, just play dumb... So maybe more likely that the justice droid got GJ?

Author:  Mimi [ Wed Nov 05, 2014 0:55 ]
Post subject:  Re: LazyScum Day 3

However... I can't read the 'poisoning' but into any of the roles described. I can't see that in any of the night actions. Unless it is the 'kill in an interesting way' bit, but those people aren't dead...

The closest is bing 'injected' by the doctor, but that's only for already dead people. It can't be a passive action as the justice Froud only turns NIGHT ACTIONS back in themselves, and thus slow illness/poisoning thing doesn't appear to be described in the night actions.

The description at the start of the day says that they seem 'ill'

And

On day one I did not vote because I dont believe that Grim... saying "vote with me i know who a bad'un is" is a good enough reason and I've been in situations before where he said that , was wrong and then just said 'well i thought that was the best thing to do'

I have not yet voted today , but i'm leaning twards GJ because the days activities fit but the feeling ill could be a side effect of some other undisclosed (as yet) power thats so far been used on Curio and GJ

Curiosity wrote:

The thing is there are no 'plain townies' , as already mentioned *everyone* has a role and you could have one that gains information so people were asking what you knew because its likely that you know *something* even that 'you blocked person X on day 1 and person Y on day 2 therefore they did not take any action' , or 'you protected person A on night one and person B on night 2 and nothing happened'

Yes, but 'feeling ill' doesn't necessarily suggest poisoning. Unless Craster.

Clearly she used sneaky Mafia style.

Anyway, I've had a think and I reckon that it doesn't much hurt to actually role claim, as if nothing else it adds info to the Town.

I am the Justice Droid. Night One I targeted Gaz, and Night Two I went for Craster.

So the blackmailer was foiled on Night One, and Craster can't be responsible for the poisoning or serum or whatever. He can still be a regular bad guy though. Also, GJ can't have been Droided For Great Justice into injecting herself.

She still may be a secret cult (which would be me and her I guess), but I reckon if we kill her the serum might take effect and she comes back and kills someone.

This is all, however, guesswork.

Wait, what? The serum injected into healthy people makes them ill and if then that person is killed then they will auto resurrect and come back as a zombie of death? That would be quite a bending of the resurrection rule as written, no? I think it only suggests that the doctor can resurrect already-dead people. But the other bit, the role claim and subsequent theory seem sound, but I can't work out what you mean when you say Jazzy can't have been droided into injecting herself. Why not? Is that not still a possibility.

Post subject:  Re: LazyScum Day 3

Well my reading of the day so far is this:

Grim... Went on a mad tirade to fuck GazChap up which worked. Probably because he likes to do that rather than having investigated anyone.

We have two zombies or zombie alike people who can't seem to do anything but can probably now communicate with each other (not sure on this as there's nothin in the role description) SO

If the Mafia has no kill role then the only way for them to win is to recruit people a la the cult and so Curio and GJ are now
secondary win Mafia?

I can't see any other way for them to win.

However, we do have investigative roles that must know that someone is good or bad.

Based on my excellent cult zombie theory I will [vote:Goddess Jasmine] for now.

Post subject:  Re: LazyScum Day 3

Ok, day ends today at 6pm. So, these are my thoughts:

I still believe that Russell, Zaphod, possibly Saturnalisn are Mafia types.

As said earlier, and also by Curio, I think Curiosity and GJ are perhaps a cult-equivalent, possibly zombie type role, maybe or maybe not something to do with the doctor...

So, my feelings are that we should vote for Russell for the reasons I have already given. Can we give that a go? [vote:Mr Russell]

Otherwise, I am still happy to vote for GJ in the thought that she is recruited cult, and they are baddies (something I finally learned at the cottage!) I would choose GJ over Curio only on the basis that if Curio's roleclsim is correct his action will still work in the cult's favour as well as ours in that if he targets a baddie Mafia type then that will still hurt the Mafia. I'd urge thought on Russrll, Zaphod and Saturnalisn, though, but if the vote stays higher with GJ I will check back later as I think both are valid targets.

It would certainly reduce the lynch target pool though.

Though we've had three apparent role claims already. Add in two detectives and their info. Could be enough.
