Another long Gotham night. At first, everyone appears to have survived, but then the survivors notice that Craster is missing.

Upon searching his penthouse apartment they find him in his shower. After struggling with the shower door, they find the door wasn't red coloured, as they had previously thought, but clear, frosted glass. The red colouring was helpfully provided by the rather large block of jelly that Craster appears to be encased in. The Gothamites bravely pull Craster's body from the jelly, but alas, they were too late. Craster had drowned, yet the giant smile plastered to his face would suggest he thought it was a good way to go. Oddly, there seems to be a neat bullet hole in the shower door, matched by a small hole in Craster's forehead. The mafia may sometimes come late, but they don't take any chances.

Searching his apartment, the survivors find nothing that wouldn't be out of place in the abode of any old playboy billionaire, but just as they're about to give up the search someone notices a hidden door in the back of a closet. Opening it up they reveal a some neatly hung Batsuits and a collection of batarangs.

Craster was Batman.

The survivors run to Arkham next. All the residents are still in their cells but have been joined by KevR, who looks very pissed off.

[playerlist]
Craig
Curiosity
Goddess Jasmine
Grim...
KevR
LaceSensor
Mimi
Mr Russ
Plissken
Rodafowa
Runcle
Sheepeh
vegetables
Zardoz
[/playerlist]

In Arkham: Rodafowa, KevR, Mimi and Mr Russ

With 10 players alive and free, 6 votes are needed for a lynch and 8 for a nolynch. The deadline for today is 10:00am Wednesday.

Well, fuck.

Also, there goes my 'Don't vote for Goddess Jasmine as I think she's Batman' idea...

Hmm.

As yesterday we found out TsuMuch was a Mafia Goon, I think we can agree KevR is probably under the spotlight, too, as they appeared to be working together yesterday. He's the only one I'm really suspicious of, right now.

[vote:KevR]

They definitely were tag-teaming a lot yesterday.

I think we can agree he's a bad guy, but is it worth killing him when he's stuck in the asylum? If he the Mafia Rat, we're quids in. If the Mafia forego killing tonight to jailbreak then we get back a whole bunch of people I'm fairly convinced are townies.

Mr Russ, Rodafowa, and now KevR where all put there by Batman, though, were they not? Assuming that Mimi isn't Mafia, for the moment, that's maybe 3 players that can't Mafia Bandwagon, because they can't vote. There hasn't been *that much* bandwagoning in this game, really.

I'm happy to consider that KevR is possibly a Rat, so maybe it could be a good idea to leave him there for a bit and consider Mr Russ or Rodafowa?

LaceSensor can't post, but wants to say this -

" [Vote:KevR] I think he may well be mafia, however, I am more bothered of getting rid of the Joker who I think maybe one of my other FOS, such as Vegetables."

I'm guessing I'll have to manually add his vote to today's vote counts now?

If Mr Russ is who I think he is, then I don't think we need to worry about lunatics being released back into the community. For this reason, I don't think he ought to be lynched.

Warning: The accuracy of my guesses can go up and down. In past experience, down.

Jesus bloody Christ. What in God's name is Jeremiah Arkham up to? Let me the sod out of this sodding asylum. I can't do anyone any good while I'm still stuck in here.

If you think you've got a known Mafia, you should lynch the bugger not fuck around on the offchance he might be the Rat. Although thinking about it, possibly that'll cause the Mafia to bust Arkham open tonight, so perhaps you should fuck about a bit.

I don't think it is an advantage for any of the 'bad guys' to know this, since he's in a helpless position right now, but it should be fairly obvious that Jeremiah Arkham is currently in his own asylum, thus depriving him of his night action.

Also, I'm 50/50 on killing KevR. Whilst he's almost certainly Mafia, do we think they'll stage a breakout tonight? If so, we need to kill him; if not, we can try someone more suspicious on the outside.

If they stage a break out do they still get a kill or could we just lynch him tomorrow?

The mafia perform an asylum break instead of a kill, they don't get both.

So, maybe we should go for someone else today then? KevR can do us no harm overnight.

I did go through and read EVERYTHING again yesterday and updated my notes, there are a few people who are getting a post in but not really contributing:
Mimi
Craig
Sheepeh
Grim... (yes I know - doesn't mean you're not a bad guy though)
Zardoz

I'm not saying they are all bad guys, just that I'm a bit supicious of the way they are playing.

Batman does his asylum lark before The Joker does his kill, and Batman's asylum lark acts as a roleblock.

Ergo, Kev ain't no Joker.

Phew! So, do we vote for someone else today then or just take KevR out? I'd like us to try someone else if we're safe for the night, but if everybody wants rid of KevR I see no point in spread voting.

Well I'm going to [vote: KevR]

We may be better off hitting someone outside the asylum, but why risk killing a townie?

God this game makes me second guess like a bastard.

Assuming KevR is Mafia, then is there a point to lynching him today? If he is Black Mask/Goon then he can't hurt the town. If he is a Rat then tonight he sings like a canary and that is a good thing for the town. If he is broken out then the Mafia can't kill tonight... which is good for the town.

Then again, Mafia is Mafia and you should always lynch one of the buggers when you get a chance.

I'll leave my vote as is for the moment but that fence is looking really attractive.

*wibbles*

It looks like we are actually doing something other than risk another non lynch. Without Batman we are pretty limited in what else we can do.

Well actually I've been suspicious of both yourself and vegetables. You have both attempted to sway peoples votes using quasi-arguments that have attempted to undermine other townies attempts to lynch a third party. It is typical mafia tactics.

KevR's cell is unlocked and his face brightens for a second before he sees the lynch mob at the door. He is dragged to the scaffold muttering prayers to St Dumas under his breath. His death is quick.

Once dead, the survivors rush to his house. They find a complete set of Death Wish DVDs, a big red suit and what looks to be a flaming sword, though none of them can work out how it works.

KevR was Azrael.

Final Vote Count

craig: 1 vote (goddess jasmine)
kevr: 6 votes (craig, grim..., plissken, sheepeh, zardoz, lacesensor)

Not voted: curiosity, kevr, mimi, mr russ, rodafowa, runcle, vegetables
