Yeah, I'd be mad at him if he had been mod killed and turned out to be a townie and lost us the game. He posted yesterday though, however insubstantially. Would have helped us considerably if he was mafia, though.

Don't know quite what to make of anything now, though. I was sure for some time that Mr Dom was mafia, then a few days ago I started to think that, looking back over the first days, he had been a mason, alongside Grim... and Craster, which is why he dropped from my suspicions, but he wasn't even that. I'm starting to doubt my own intuition on this now. The only thing I really have in mind is Wookie's vote > unvote > vote yesterday, which struck me as odd, as if he was trying to time things 'right'. Does anyone else have anything useful?

[vote:mr russell] as I am running out of options and as we have not hit a baddie yet, my options are better.

Right... Obviously I didn't cast that vote. I've been hacked.

Looking at the counter, it does seem like you can vote for yourself, which doubtless means I'm screwed as I cannot change my vote. :(

A cunning move from the hacker.

Can you not vote for someone else instead or are you being persuaded by forces unseen not to?

That really, really sucks if you're a good guy :( I assume you've tried to unvote and it won't let you?

Either the hacker is a baddie and is trying to bring the good guys down, or is a good guy and thinks you are bad and is trying to point the finger at you in the most obvious way.

I suspect it depends on what role the hacker is. Boobies is the only computer here, so the 'hacker' is perhaps working against him/it.

Is Boobies good or bad? I'm not sure, but he appears to be keeping us here against our will and isn't scared of giving people a quick dart to the neck, so does that make the hacker good, and as such does he think you are a bad guy? Or does the hacker work with boobies and try to swing votes against good guys?

Alarm is swiftly pushed to the front, and given a poisonous dart to the eyeball.

"Forgive the inaccuracy of my aim, as I have been laughing. Alarm was a highly skilled Computer Hacker, working for the innocents to try and undermine the Mafia. Each night he could hack my computer and force someone's vote, which they could not change. And yes, that does mean that last night he chose to hack himself."

There's a general air of murmuring from the survivors.

"Yes, yes. This experiment is at an end. Do what you will."

Malc pulls out his gun, the silenced pistol that has killed someone each and every night. He aims at Insignificant Test Subject krazywookie and pulls the trigger.

Meanwhile, Mr Russell, the Assistant Mafia Hitman, ready to take over killing duties if necessary, is throttling Joans, whilst exhorting him to participate.

"Joans, the troublemaker of the group. Each night he would leave a message instructing someone that a person of his choosing was evil."

Kovacs and Mimi look at each other, before Mimi grabs the television from the wall and smashes it over the Masonic head of Kovacs. Mimi was the Junior Assistant Hitman, who could still kill if needed.

"With the fools of the town annihilated, you are free to go."

A large door opens into daylight, and the victorious Mafia walk off into it.

GAME OVER

Superb work, Curio - that was an excellent game.

Also, *cough*

MVP of the game goes to Malc, for killing everyone, including the Detective and SK on the fest two nights, not to mention throwing everyone for a loop with his entirely made-up 'night visions'.

Fun coincidences:

1) All four Mafia members had names starting with M.
2) APOD, who confused everyone and won the game for the Mafia in a previous game by pretending to have a box that told him night action secrets, actually did have such a box in this game.
3) All three Masons are, well, not small gentlemen.

BIG MASONS!

Cheers, Cfunk. Seriously bad luck for the town to lose the detectives on the first night.

I tried to work it into the game with my reintroduction of the "memories"

Not sure how many people picked up on that though?
