yeah, it was hard playing that role, but I didn't realise until to late that I didn't have to vote for Gazchap as the lynch target was the same as the 50% target.

Still, I managed it 3 times, day 4 I didn't even get a chance to read it. and day 5 I was too tiedup with my role to do to much about it.

If there were two Mafia, but for some reason one voted for the other, for a joke or to look innocent, and that Mafia guy got strung up, then the Goon and teh remaining Mafia could off each other in the night, leaving the Townie to sit on his own wondering quite how that all happened.

I trust the Mafia are not that stupid though.

Post reasoning about the SK killing the real SK "Because he's an SK" when really it would be a fucking insane thing to do, as I pointed out at the time.

I wish this had happened.

At the time with the choice we had between Gaz and the cult, we had to take down a cult and hope it was the leader.
We also had to hope that Gaz wouldn't realise that if he didn't kill GJ (and nobody else did), we'd end up keeping him alive for another day to lynch her.

When it came down to luck, we didn't really have any (apart from Curio on the first day).

At the time you posted that, I don't believe I had been. I was recruited the night before I was murdered. The first night (and I guess this is revealable now), Jazzy tried to recruit Gazchap and failed.

That did surprise me though.
The mafia knew that Runcle was a townie, that GJ was the cult leader and that Gaz was the SK. Obviously they knew who else was/wasn't mafia.
I'm just surprised they chose to hit Runcle out of everyone they could pick.

I did it on day 3 and you were killed on night 3.
Everyone (including myself) was too caught up in the Comical vs Me showdown, but I guess the mafia picked up on it and decided my reasoning was good (or it was a lucky guess).

Then I was lying.

Tbh, I was surprised I was recruited.

Edit - I'm a bit disappointed that I completely missed Day 6 while I was out to lunch and that Gaz fell for the last day mafia blockvote that has ended so many games.

Please note that this is supposition. Since being allowed in this thread I have not contacted my Mafia fellows until a few minutes ago when I emailed them a 'well done' notice as we'd won.

I was actually rooting for them to hit Runcle, or Kalmar.

It was very probable that either GJ or Gaz would be protected, as the doctor would probably protect one or the other.

Runcle was a known townie, and therefore recruitable by the cult, as well as being someone we needed to off, and someone who could damage us later in the game.

So, I reckon they made a good call.

We were helped massively by Gaz though.

I was reasoning that the real SK would vote for the fake SK, Curiosity.

I still stand by that.

Especially as I was right: the real SK did vote for Curiosity.

If you're not okay with me taking my time to put the action in so I know to be about when it happens, don't set the deadline to that time. I assumed if the deadline says "Thursday, 10am" I have...until...y'know...Thursday, 10am.

Nah, you were ok with your night actions - it was CG that was moaning about the night cycles taking too long. Like I said, I totally understood why you couldn't get on, and I'm just saying that it was a shame that you couldn't be on more often to play an active role.

So, to put it more succinctly: I'm not saying I was disappointed in you, but that I was disappointed that you couldn't play a bigger part in the game.
