I would love to play this with you. It's possible I won't be there until early evening on the Friday now though.

It's looking likely that I will be visiting a friend for the few days before the cottage. Which means I will (a) probably arrive earlier than usual and (b) Will turn up with a PC, PS4 and Wii U with a variety of daft multiplayer games that people can play should anyone be interested. If not, there will be a pc, a PS4 and a wii u sitting in my room at the cottage doing nothing.

Yep! I was planning on bringing my Wii U to the cottage specifically to play it (and Mario Kart 8 ).

Reason I'm bringing it is mainly to show it to someone pre-cottage. But also for MK8.

If you recommend it, then I'm happy to get it. I thought it might've been a Noby noby boy-esque recommendation.

It's fun for groups as it puts you into pairs for challenges using the gamepad and Wii remotes but no screen.

Not a video game as such, more like a traditional party game.

I don't have all that much to move - if I can logistically make it then I will.

It's not looking good for me :(

Currently Friday is unlikely, I may be able to come up on Saturday, but direct tickets from Ivybridge to Derby are usually loads more than going via London, so that might not happen either.

You'll just have to come up and visit instead.

We actually almost managed to come this time but Jen moved department which changed all her holidays and meant the only time she had a week off was around the cottage weekend and I wanted to take her abroad for her 30th. If we'd voted yes, England would have been fine but sadly Tunisia will have to do!

Actual laugh into the room.

That's what we should do: Have a ring of laptops around the room, in the corners and spaces between the sofas and armchairs, and then have a face only shot via skype of everyone who is not attending. They'll have to have booze at home, and just get steadily drunk via skype, then quiz. Then we can shoot them with Nerf guns, then the people on skype can shoot at us with their Nerf guns and one of them will blind Russell.
