I was so looking forward to showing you the site and it saying "yes", but I had to update it when I couldn't be there.

I asked Craster to show you and you told him to tell me to fuck off :'(

I'm pretty sure that's not what actually happened, you know. You didn't update it and said you wouldn't cos it didn't count cos you weren't there, or so Cras told me.

Although... both of us only have his word for it, the devious machiavellian ginger love monkey.

Well, not really, I mean, I updated it.

I could show you the SVN log, if you'd like?

Hello, lovelies.

Your two chefs for Friday night and Saturday morning would like to know how you'd feel about tossing £5 each into a "food and essentials" pot.

Normally this is covered in the "normal" payments, but either there are less people coming this year or it's costing more to rent them, or whatever.

If more people suddenly decide to come, this won't be a thing.

I'm probably going to need to sort out my own food unless it's somewhat lacking in gluten (unless I get some kind of indication that that isn't the cause of health problems.) but can put in if required.

It wouldn't be hard to adjust Friday night to be non-gluten for you, if we go with our current thinking.

Obviously we can't tell you - it's a surprise.

What are you making, can I eat it? can you PM me and let me know if I promise I won't tell anyone, even Russell? I only ask as you might think I can eat it when I, in fact, cannot eat it.

I remember when Craster made me mushrooms and I loved him so hard that I almost considered killing myself and eating it anyway, because he cared enough to make me mushrooms. Deathshrooms, as usually I like to think of them, but in this case, loveshrooms.

Unless I turn the engine off and coast into a parking space, throwing myself out of the door into a perfect roll to standing.

Unless I race into a parking space, swinging the car in a wide arc and skidding sideways, stepping coolly out of the door and shooting some suckas.

I have 3 potential problems to overcome before I can be sure I can come:

1) Wife is working Friday night to Monday night that weekend
2) I am down to be on call 9-4 on the Saturday and Sunday
3) Money is tight at the moment (for train fare and food/drink)

Possible solutions:

1) Wife is trying to swap nights and sister-in-law might be able to come down and stay with is
2) Either I can swap my weekends or be on call from the cottage!
3) I can eat beans on toast for a month!

Malc

Update:

1) Wife is still trying to swap shifts (2 down, 2 to go) but sister in law can't come down and stay
2) I have swapped my weekend (it does mean doing 3 weekends in a row!)
3) I can probably afford to come, but i've never left booking train tickets this late before, hopefully they will be ok when/if my wife manages to swap the nights!
