"What's a Beex?"

:DD

He was indeed awesome, but I am unaware of any intention of his to come this year.

Aw, that's a shame, he seemed to be genuinely sweet and lovely, and really easy to get along with.

We can see if he can fully blind your husband this year.

It was like P.J. and the paintball incident all over again, but with less forehead.

Do ask, he's lovely. And if he can't make it, just pass on that he is lovely.

Picking up on the B&B comment, would folks be interested in a fudge off at the cottage?

Fudge is incredibly easy to make in its basic form (melt some butter, throw in some sugar and milk, boil it for a bit, pour it into a tray and stick it in the fridge), but you can do loads of different added flavours, different techniques etc...
I can bring my peanut butter fudge of excellence, if others want to join in with a competition.
Grim... has already claimed the position of Judge Fudge, and would decide the winner.

Payment from Other Matt, Mrs Other Matt and Mr Dave leaves us pretty much at the total (I will get monies from Other Dave at my leisure).

Huzzah!

Now to prepare the quiz, and a special game of Mafia Scum, and a new board game, and, and, and!

I have 3 potential problems to overcome before I can be sure I can come:

1) Wife is working Friday night to Monday night that weekend
2) I am down to be on call 9-4 on the Saturday and Sunday
3) Money is tight at the moment (for train fare and food/drink)

Possible solutions:

1) Wife is trying to swap nights and sister-in-law might be able to come down and stay with is
2) Either I can swap my weekends or be on call from the cottage!
3) I can eat beans on toast for a month!

Awww, that sucks.

Hopefully you can sort it all out, it wouldn't be the same without you drunk and playing mafia ;)

Monetary wise, if that turns out to be the reason you can't come, then feel free to let me know, I'm happy to sub you some cash to get you there (this goes for anyone else too)

I chucked 1.5th of sugar into 23 litres. Should be over 4.5% at least. I don't understand the calculation but it has a gravity of 1038 right now. Smells vile. Will call it "Cardigan Loser".

I wish I could, but I can't. Such is the life of an international business man. :(

Or, alternatively, a chap with two kids, currently with an extremely busy life and plenty of things to do (like washing Prunella and pouncing on Pat, and hiding the car keys under the mat, and keeping the newspapers nice and flat, and giving the pens an occasional bat... Bless you Ms Donaldson for your gift of rhyme.)

I would like to come to these things and both see again the lovely people I've already met and meet for the first time the lovely people I haven't yet met, but it's rather tricky at the mo.

I may be coming to That London in the next couple of months, though, as I need to widdle in Craster's new flat (it's a thing).

I was so looking forward to showing you the site and it saying "yes", but I had to update it when I couldn't be there.

I asked Craster to show you and you told him to tell me to fuck off :'(

I'm pretty sure that's not what actually happened, you know. You didn't update it and said you wouldn't cos it didn't count cos you weren't there, or so Cras told me.

Although... both of us only have his word for it, the devious machiavellian ginger love monkey.
