I debate whether it has been done on the majority of days in all those years.

Can we get a poll?

Also 2014? I'm not sure you can judge a year 'n' until 3 months into year 'n+1.'

And surely we should implement a grading system.

Completed Pokemon Thunder Yellow (GBC) after feeling nostalgic from that Twitch plays Pokemon Red thing. Thunder Yellow is a hacked rom where you can catch all the pokemon, without trading with other real people, I had every intention of collecting them all but the games getting a bit flaky now and keeps jumping back to 10 minutes back in time for some reason. Still I completed all the gym badges, beat the elite four and blue and caught all the 3 legendary pokemon and mew and mewtwo, so I've played a good session.

And that's number 13 done, I'm 25% through my finish list.

Currently playing through Ass Crud 50 Pirate flavour, struggling to play more of this despite putting in a fair bit of time in already and despite I've managed 100% in all the last titles except the first. Hopefully I'll be able to power through the main story and call it a day.
Also playing Rayman oranges and Rayman jungle run thingy Saturnalian finished recently.
Oh and the new Phoenix Wright game. Oh and I started The Swapper.

Hopefully that lot will be done by the end of the month.

I counted Lego Marvel as finished after competing the campaign, but I've just 100%'d it and got the Platinum trophy now, so it feels like it counts properly now.

Attack of the Friday Monsters [3DS] - slight. Empty. But gibli childhood simulator.

The Last Of Us [PS3] - still recovering from the ending. So bloody good. HBO: The Game.
The Last of Us: Left Behind [PS3] - more of the same. Which is pretty much the greatest compliment possible.

So was No. 10 Dark Souls 2? Nope. Just completed Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations. It occurred to me that now I have a 3DS I can go back to the final of the trilogy - that I had to abandon halfway through when my DS broke.

It's pretty hard picking up a game after a break of 3 or so years, but it was still ace. Playing Threes and Apollo Justice on my commute theses days (but distracted by a book).

9. Magic The Gathering 2014 [iOS: iPad] - lumbered with the most inelegant control scheme (which is a legacy of it's XBLA days) means it loses all of the tactial magic (hoho!) that should be present in a tablet version. Real shame.
10. Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations [DS] - It really shouldn't work - but it really does. Primarily because you care so much for the characters.

It's not the only game I've played thus far in 2014, but the only one I've 'finished'. (Mainly because the others are things like OpenTTD which NEVER END).

Finished all of Rayman Jungle Run, same as Saturnalian, all levels completed with all gems.

Kind of finished Rayman Legends, well I did the main story levels and I got the final credits. Kind of want to finish 53 games now as I left so much unfinished in it but I want to play the new south park game and I need to send this back to get it.

Boomerang, they are alright I had a better, quicker, cheaper service off love film but I think they are only online rental company about at the minute.

And Brothers: A Tale about some brothers. Two of em. (PS3). It's great, it's free on PS+, so bloody play it.

Blimey, I haven't turned on my 360 all year except to play a bit of Gears of War: Judgement. GoW is now the entire sum of my backlog.

What's your opinion on GOW:Judgment? Absolutely slated by fans but as a single player experience it was my favourite by a mile.

Hmm, we are looking at an alternative to lovefilm at the minute, and still doing games makes a big difference. Cheers!

To be honest I've not played much of it, but it seemed like business as usual to me. It sure is gorgeous though; that burning tree at the beginning looked fantastic. I'm not sure I'm too impressed by the whole mobile-phone/3 Star approach to each level though. I like a strong narrative in games, unless they're supposed to be score attack or whatever (natch), so it's a little jarring playing a GoW game where the game expects you not to take an interest in the story.

Gears of War was an excellent trilogy. I'm glad they finished it there and weren't tempted to milk the franchise dry.

Shadow Blade on Android done. So that's three stars on the three proper levels sets and only two stars missing from the City and Hardcore level packs as a few of the time limits are fucking brutal.

1. Mass Effect 3
2. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
3. Estranged
4. The Room 2
5. Little Inferno
6. Shadow Blade
7. Deus Ex: The Fall
8. Far Cry 3

I might go back and mop up the two outstanding collectible related achievements in Far Cry but the main game is done with all the camps and skills and whatnot done so I've got a pretty high completion rate already. It was very good, but I was starting to get a bit bored by the end because there's so much game to the game.

Yeah, a proper treat.

It's all based on MC Escher monuments, and you turn the screen to allow your little character to move around on the surfaces.

It's also really cute, and just the right side of tricky to work out without being frustrating or having to look up a walkthrough.

Takes probably a couple of hours to complete, but you probably won't do it all in one go anyway.

Do recommend though.

I completed Untrusted!

Yes, it counts. Go away.

Of course it counts, why shouldn't it? I'm going to count it as well! If and when I finish it...

It's a game on a computer device.

1. Mass Effect 3

3. Estranged
4. The Room 2
5. Little Inferno
6. Shadow Blade
7. Deus Ex: The Fall
8. Far Cry 3
9. AWESOME Land

Short and not brilliant platformer on Android. Although I was obviously sucked into it enough to play it through to completion and there was a certain amount of satisfaction in playing the later harder levels over and over getting a little bit further each time.

10. Don't Move

Don't Move is an odd meta not-really-a-game game that initially looks to have some interesting secrets but turns out not to. Which is a bit disappointing. There is some currently unexplained stuff in there but it seems to be unexplained because the dev hasn't bothered to implement anything around it yet, which is bullshit obviously.

And I'll add 17. Dark Souls 2 (PS3) to this list and 18. Shelter (PC) a flawed oddity that was merely ok.

Yeah, but I could quite easily write my own.

Yeah, but I could quite easily write my own.

And then we could complete it and add it to our lists.
