just finished this, the end is fun. On. A . Bun.

I already have it on Steam, but I didn't notice in the small print when you buy it that UPlay is mandatory. I refuse out of principle to install a second layer of intrusive DRM just to play a game. See also: Origin.

The Big Outlay....

<62.27> on Dark Souls 2 the collectors edition.

Preordering. Buying Collectors edition. It's a play by play for being an idiot. But I don't care.

Slightly related: anyone who's never played DLC Quest should totally go and play DLC Quest because it's excellent and a very funny satire. Also available in delicious and stupidly cheap Xbox flavour.

Fake edit: although I notice now that the Steam version comes with the "Live Freemium or Die" DLC included which the Xbox doesn't have.

£1.99? That's way too expensive. I'm not paying a premium price like that for a game!

*drops £70 on Candy Crush*

F2P is MtG for mobiles.

Magic pulled drug money levels from me for about 2 years as a child/idiot.

Never again.

(Please ignore my last purchase during my grandstanding. Thank you.)

I've not got to any ending yet, but yes it's great (and hard as nails). One time I had all my consumables under control but I got flung through a wormhole and found myself stranded with nowhere within flying distance. >:(

I've found the Tau thingy to increase your space folder range and the geoscan to be essential to a good game. Unfortunately finding these things is too luck-based for my liking. Everything has to come together for a good run.

I haven't contributed to this thread yet, but I guess there's no time like the present to get involved.

So, so far this year I have purchased:

<14.99> - Crusader Kings 2 (Mac/PC)
<8.88> - DLC tracks for Rocksmith 2014 (Mac/PC)
<5.49> - TxK (PS Vita)
<11.99> - The Last Of Us: Left Behind (PS3)
<7.99> - Ys Chronicles I & II (PSP/Vita)
<0.99> - Deus Ex: The Fall (Android)
<5.83> - Luftrausers (PS3/Vita)
<4.99> - Bioshock Infinite (Mac/PC)

£61.15 total. Eeesh.

Well, I'm meant to be being sensible with my purchasing this year and I was planning on getting either MGSV: Ground Zeroes or Diablo III at some point this week (just maxed out the starter version of D3 so want to continue - though £33 seems a bit steep for a game that came out in 2012).

Also, I haven't even touched Crusader Kings 2 or Deus Ex: The Fall (although it was a quid, so I won't lose any sleep over that one).

Look you wanted one - thats a great price and you'll enjoy playing games on it !

The only real downside is that your going to take a trip to an alternative house of frasier store at the weekend and find they have an electrical section and you could have bought it from there :-)
