I noticed that this morning as well. I thought it might be new, but then you haven't updated yet (I'm surprised you're still allowed to play, to be honest).

Yeah, that's not new. I only noticed it a couple of days ago, but then I haven't really lost a round of "PvP' before then, so wouldn't have seen it :ninja:

The amount of points you win (and lose) is dependant on how many points you (and your opponent) have. The best tactic seems to be to wait until the last hour and then hit it hard, as you steal points off the people who have been accumulating them all the way through, and they don't have time to get them back.

Indeed, and I got Top Twenty in the Widow one doing just that. Maybe if I start from a higher base then I can do even better :)

But starting from a higher base means you get less points per win ;)

Yeah, so you can't restart the PC version, so if you don't have a clue what you're doing to start with (Which wouldn't be surprising) you're stuck with that.

Great design chaps.

No, wait, the other one. What a heap of shit.

It's more a problem of enforced cloud saving where you have no control over your save at all. I can't imagine this will be unique to either PC or this game. (Problems of this kind were something I thought of as a problem when I heard about the XBones 'transparent' cloud usage, for a start)

Still, that, which exacerbated the rather rank FTP unbalancing rather put me off this game.

The core is fun, unfortunately from what I saw, it's set up to either grind like hell or pay money. Not well balanced.

It's fair to say that the user reviews are Not positive

(As for the prices there... £76? 8) Well, that would be money well spent getting round grind deliberately put in to milk money rather than for any legitimate gameplay reasons. )

With one minute to go I was at #35.

I finished 'In the Top 75', which means below 45th, and I get Daken instead of a 3* Spider-Man, and 50 fewer Gold.

Bah!

Top 250 - Three recruit tokens, and some ISO8 stuff. And some gifts from Trooper and Curiosity :)

Just got a *** Spideyman from a standard cover token. Result!

Still need a couple more to get him to the point where I might be able to use him, mind. This game badly needs a Panini sticker album swaps mode.

Did you update? Means you have to do a mission first.
Or could be because there's no rewards for days 13 and 14?

The other day I got a request off you to download Puzzle Quest from the App Store and it was seemingly a completely different version as it didn't have the little cloud download icon or the word Update, even though I already have the game.

As such, it's your fault again.

I got a 4* Legendary Invisible Woman from a recruit pack in the latest event. She starts at L30, but I do wonder if I'll really ever use her, as chances of me getting more covers are tiny, and her starting ability seems rubbish.

I also have several Bullseye covers, but no roster space. He looks rubbish though. His adamantium bones skill seems useful, but his other one looks a bit lame. Maybe it gets better at high levels.

I also have the 2* modern Hawkeye. He seems pretty useful, but again I have no roster space so will likely sell him.

My 2* Storm is at about L40 at the moment, and her Blue attack does nearly 1000 damage to all opponents and stuns the main target for 3 turns. Awesome.

This tricked me into paying 3 pounds by making me drink red wine and then getting another 4* card (Wolverine X Force) that I didn't have space for on my roster.

I played as him a few times during the lightning rounds. His two skills I used were to switch a ton of tiles around (meh) and to change enemy countdown and attack tiles to your countdown and attack tiles (awesome in prologue/campaign).

The downside of having 3* characters is you never get any more effing covers for them. The upside is they sometimes get boosted in the events and become amazing. My regular Hulk is rarely used, but in the current event he has 7700 health and is a monster (arf).

There appears to be a new bug whereby Ragnarok can hit his specials without actually having the stuff to do it. Last three or four games he just chains them more or less indefinitely.

The new event seems cool, mostly because I have a Level 60 Storm Classic (2*) and when powered up it is going to kick ass.

Stop cheating, game!

From the second turn onwards, despite not having any pink matches, the computer just did aggressive recon followed by anti gravity device every single turn. It's quite hard to beat a team that steals all your points and heals for 450 health every single turn.

Actually, they aren't. They have accidentally boosted wolverine this release, so that his powers produce 4 friendly strike tiles, rather than 2 friendly and 2 enemy, and the next release will bring him back to where he used to be.

The main change that is going to annoy me, is that they are planning to introduce an ISO cost to skipping fights.
