As i'd levelled them up a bit when i had nothing better, i'd held onto them, but yeah, they don't get used often.

Roda should be fine with his uber panther. Unfortunately he's not in our alliance.

Everyone's still active, right?

Can you even boot people out?

You can boot people. Everyone has been active the past couple of events though.

If we want another spot it'll cost 1000 coins this time, so if anyone has that kinda cash, I can promote and they can open up a slot. Assuming Roda (or anyone else) wants to join us that is :D

I don't suppose there's a way to donate the "cash", is there? I have 200.

In Eve you got taxed on everything you earned. They should do that.

I miss Eve :(

Ares is vicious. Had all three characters at full health (levels between 110 and 85). He hit all three specials in one turn to kill me completely. Ouch.

Just lost to Ares again. Had to kill Spidey first or risk being unable to ever move, by the time that was done I was still on full health, but he had two protect tiles I couldn't get rid of. Had him down from 5500 to 1000, but then he hit Sunder (3k total damage), Rampage (1k+ to all) and Onslaught (2k). Full team dead again. :(

Hmmmm, works much better to leave Spidey to last, actually, unlike Widow. On his own he can't do too much. Makes he game longer, but manageable.

And again. Man, he is vicious. Either green or yellow kills the target, red softens them up, and they're all comparatively cheap (10 is the most expensive).

It's funny. I am beating teams with 3 L100+ 3* chars easily, but have now lost 5/6 against 2* teams with Ares (Max L85)

L40 Ragnarok vs L40 Daken at the end of a cripple fight in the current Bad Guys event. Sadly I was Rags. Despite equal levels, the only way to hurt Daken is if you hit both powers every turn. Hit only a single power and a 4 match and he gains health. At the start of the fight I had double his health. Doh!

I have three (Ares, Daken, Ragnarok), but other than Daken they're both low level so I lose a lot.

:D

Just got the 12500 points on the normal heroic mode thing. Got a human torch cover. Yay. He's still rubbish, but at least he has more health.

The latest Android update is a bit annoying. It freezes the game if you lose reception. Seems to be doing some sort of constant checking now, even in the middle of a round.

I wonder if that is an anti cheat thing, or a bug?

Yeah, it gave me enough hero points to unlock a roster space for Ares.

Now to decide if it's worth getting Moonstone as I have two covers waiting.

Moonstone has some interesting powers, but on the whole I wouldn't go out of my way to get her. Depends who else you have as options, though.

Having the current PvE event restrict the characters as it does has forced me to level up 2* Hawkeye and Wolverine. It's actually quite fun to use characters that I normally leave on the bench.

I was. :D He's now maxed out at level 141, doing 3100 damage to all enemies with his black attack.

Which is nice.

It was a pretty massive pain having 2 events running where I couldn't use any healers, though. And I can't get a sodding Human Torch cover to save my life.

I have two Torch ones. Earned one via some event or other and then got one from the card pack during this event. His green is very useful when you're boosted to L108, but terrible otherwise (ditto all his powers, tbf).

Despite my better judgement, I decided to give this a second go. But on my phone during travel

Still grindy. Worse interface, and most of all, How much data dies this thing use for what I am playing solely single player?!?!

About a quarter of my monthly limit in 5 days. On its own.

Get chucked off for going out of signal too. Great for commutes with patchy reception. May be linked to the previous point.

Uninstalled.

Uh, it's used 51mb in a month and a half for me.

Agreed on the annoyingness factor of it needing a semipermanent connection though.

Just over 250Mb, I think. :S

Doubly annoying as it shouldn't even really need to be talking to anything.

Mainly annoying as the game would be very good, if it weren't for all the extraneous shit hung round it.

New league update thing looks interesting. Unfortunately the Nick Fury cards only appear to be winnable for the top alliances, which somewhat rules us out.
