Just saw Cap 2.

Very good in places (OMG THE GRAVESTONE) but nothing stratospheric.

I can imagine how AoS will now get very different. I was most upset that there were no crossover cameos though.

Cap 2:

"Air conditioning is fully functional"
caused me some serious lollage.

What was the gravestone bit?

[edit]I remember now :)

There was a crossover cameo, you obviously weren't paying attention to either the show or the film :D

Looking forward to seeing the next episode of AoS now, given the events of Cap2.

One thing that irked me about Cap2:

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The nasty Hydra people are about to kill a few million people, including the President, Tony Stark, Bruce Banner (good luck with that) and anyone who might ever disagree with them.

Why the flying fuck did Fury/Cap et al not call in the Avengers? Stark was in the same fucking city! A quick phonecall and Iron Man is there! Not to mention Hawkeye; why's Widow there and her boyfriend off galavanting?

Annoyed me, that did.

Yeah, there were some SHIELD personnel in it, specifically the one that Widow chucked off the building, but I wanted to see Coulson or someone. That said, I imagine I shall see that they were plenty busy elsewhere.

It's the first one Coulson hasn't been in, apparently.

I've really enjoyed it, especially after the mid season break.

I am pleased it's coming back

Yeah, the last few episodes shown in the UK have been excellent.

Plus they like to use it to market the movies.

("The shop" - Ed) informs me that Series 2 of this is ("in stock" - Ed).

I didn't realise it was kicking off so soon.

Yes.

But not until the second half of the series, other than occasional flashes of good.

When it gets towards the bits that link up with the second Capt America film, it's good from there.

Agreed. Just pick it up from that point. S2 has started well which is good.

Science Girl was on The Soup last week, looking all glammed up.

Um, it's a clip of Elizabeth Henstridge on a programme called The Soup just like in Curiosity's comment that I quoted. Why, what did you think it would be? And why didn't you just click it and find out?

I thought it was okay - it had a bit of a dip in the middle but picked up quite well at the end and I'd like there to be a season 2 even just to see how they tie in the ending into the rest of the universe.

Not seen Agent Carter, though some of my friends enjoyed it.

Agents of SHIELD is one of my absolute favourite things at the moment. I haven't seen the most recent episode, but for the last season or so, Kyle McLachlan has been just about my favourite character on television.

Agent Carter was very good. Really loved it by the end and was sad to see it go. A tiny bit shaky for first few episodes though.

Finally caught up.

One of the best shows on telly.

Kyle McLachlan essentially plays a massively over the top, psychotic version of MaliA. It's probably my favourite TV character in the last few years (as long as you don't mind him massively hamming up everything).

Seriously, the start of the first series was dull, but at the moment it's superb. So many quality characters.

That was a great line!

I still watch this though I often think it's all over the place really, still it remains enjoyable.

Shame Bobbi left, though apparently she's going to be in some spin-off series.

If you want to see Bobbi playing a schoolgirl, you could check out Friday Night Lights (the TV show, not the movie (or the book)).

And then you can fall in love with Lyla Garrity and forget all about her.
