Episode 2 was loads of fun, you loon.

And yes, the very end was brilliant

And Falling Skies is the worst thing that's ever been on TV.

Forgetting to watch it is probably more time efficient. If you were to remember to watch it you would only forget that you had done about two minutes after it ends.

It's fucking dull isn't it? I know Coulson is supposed to be unassuming but he is also entirely uncharismatic, just like everyone else in it. I dunno, maybe I'm expecting too much but without a Marvel license and Whedon's name attached this would struggle to even get picked up by Channel 5.

The second episode was better than the first in some ways and worse in others which isn't brilliant. After we thought it had finished Mrs B proclaimed it had one more episode to hook her or it was getting ditched; which was instantly upgraded to a two episode grace period after the actual final scene.

The idea of dropping this so you can spend more time watching Falling Skies is just though. Hell, the idea of spending less time hammering nails into your dick so you can watch more Falling Skies would still be madness.

Why don't you switch off your TV set, go out and do something less boring instead?

The very last scene of ep2 was awesome.

Also, I really like Coulson.

Also also, I think they need to make sure that the overarching story lines (Coulson's death, girl's allegiance, etc) get decent amounts of air time, and it not just be a MotW type thing every week.

That's one of the things they're at least trying to do right; most new US shows would be pure MotW for the whole first season (essentially until they see if they'll even get a second season to make it worthwhile) but they've baked a couple of over-arching plots in here right from the first minute. As you say though, it's whether they spend any real time on them that's the crux.

I just don't want them to fanny around and get cancelled before we find out WTF is going on.

Falling skies is brilliant, you utter loonbuckets.

I gave up half way through episode 2. Do I have to go back and watch the rest? It was sooo boring up to that point though.

Falling Skies is *very* boring up to that point, then it takes off.

Plus, you know, Moon Bloodgood...

It's definitely worth persevering with. It's non-too-subtly the American War of Independence with the English played by aliens, but it's good stuff.

I was on about Agents of SHIELD. I gave up on Falling Skies after one episode.

I've enjoyed the couple of episodes we've seen so far. It seems like an enjoyable bit of fun. Will keep watching and see where it goes.

As long as you don't have to install anything to play the movies, you should be okay.

I've used it for years now, with no spyware infestations. No installations needed. It aggregates links to other streaming services - the best are the likes of putlocker and sockshare.

If torrenting is effort, I think you're doing it wrong.

You can join my PlexServer if you like. It hates you unless your name isn't "Craster", and then it works quite well.

Do a search, click a link, wait for download to complete, done. The amount of effort you could possibly save over that process is measured in seconds and I don't believe anyone is that busy.

If you're starting from scratch you have to get the client, too, and possibly some codecs to make it go, so it is a little more effort that 4od.

4oD makes you sit through 5 hours of adverts for every 10 minutes of telly, so you need to balance it out.

Torrenting is illegal so it may be a moral choice.

Streaming online isn't illegal for the person watching it (thank you UK court system!), which is why it's great.

So we're still talking a difference in pure effort that can be measured in seconds or, at worst, a couple of minutes for the sake of not waiting months to watch something. There was a case in the last year or so that made it clear that the temp caching of something isn't "copying" for the purposes of the copyrights and whatsits act.

It makes sense, as otherwise you've got no idea whether you're allowed to be watching a particular thing on Youtube.
