The thing is, if it's just to stretch you until payday, it's pretty much fine because you won't likely have much difficulty finding that £20 to pay them. If you get the loan because you've run out of crack, that's a different story.

No because it's not a year long loan, it's for 2 weeks. If it was what you'd consider a reasonable APR (say 20%) they'd make about 50p, which is clearly not worth the paperwork.
