I like the Tescos ones because they aren't too dry (Boots, Johnsons), aren't too soapy (wtf Huggies?!) and aren't impossible to get out of the packet (Johnsons, Huggies), and gave a flip too lid so no sticky desk to stop sticking. And they're cheap.

Ok sorry they are not really organic, just feels like it each time I buy them!

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

You can get them in Waitrose as well by all accounts. Gone through 720 of these since March 8th (have about 10 left as I type)

These make my wife happy so I buy them :)

Yes, those are the ones. My friend has bought them from Waitrise also, but if your local Asda doesn't bring you out in hives, they are currently on offer there for £15 for 540, (nine packs of 60) which is the cheapest I have seen them.

Never thought about warming these to be honest! He does flinch once in a while when I change him, but not very often

He is going through the "I'm telling you what I'm wearing stage" which is normally not very much, so he can't complain about a cold wipe when he is refusing to wear trousers :D

Post subject:  Re: Amazon Prime

Had an email telling me that Amazon Dash Button's are now available to UK Prime subscribers

So you basically buy a dongle for £4.99 (this is refunded from your first order) that's branded with one product (list in URL below)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/browse.html ... nounce_tcg

Its wireless and you set it up with the Prime App, when you want the product you press the button and the stuff turns up 24 "Prime" hours later ;)

Its protected from little fingers finding the dongle and going nuts, once you press once its sends an email and you can cancel the order, it will also ignore any further button presses 24 hours after the first one.

By all accounts in the US there are 100's of dongles to choose from, the UK has 40 to start with.

There is nothing I use in the list and I can't ever see a situation were this would be of any use. If I need say cat food or anything else I would just get it from the supermarket on the way home from work.

I did have a quick look at Finish dishwasher tablets, on the Prime Dash its better value than Tesco by £2 a box, the best deal on there is the usual Amazon Prime crap where despite it being Prime it has a 2-4 week delivery.

Also the Dash Buttons themselves show a 6-8 week delivery >:|

EDIT it was just the finish dishwasher tablet one with 6-8 weeks, others are available next day.

Oh, I was going to ask that. So, do you always get the same colour(s)? I can see how to order the button, but not what the button leads on to buy (apart from the general brand).

This is quite special isn't it? But what if the price changes on the thing you're buying? I guess if you're looking to get the best deal, this isn't for you.

Also, I can see my daughters pressing this quite a lot if I have one in my house but still... I think I might get one for toilet rolls, just because I can.

There seems to be confusion about how it works - you can use a dash button to buy any product. You choose during setup.

For each dash you can choose what you want to be ordered when you press the button via the Amazon website.

For playdoh there is only one thing you can choose for now, for others like Gillette there are lots more choices

Guess it will get better overtime as I can't much interest for one thing for something like playdoh.

I hope it works as you say, as there are things I order from Prime (with no dash) that I could happily order using one.

Looked at the help section and not looking good though :(

Quote:
Select the product you would like to reorder with your Dash Button.

You can choose an option from the product line your Dash Button is associated with. For example if you have a Dash button for a brand of laundry detergent, you can select various scents and sizes of detergent. Tap the item to select it.

I like the idea of having a push button thing but from an environmental impact POV I'd rather it just added it to some list or other which was then placed on a weekly basis. Kinda like their recurring deliveries thing, which I do use for cat food etc.

I'd like something similar to this where I could have buttons that would add things to a shopping list app. Similarly ones that worked with a forceful supermarket to add things to a basket ready to check out at the next shop, so the order built up until you were ready to place the order for stuff you needed, or when you next went shopping.

If people use these, I can see that being a future 'thing'.
