So...totally different from what we were saying, that if you let pro expire, not renew, you go back to 1TB.

Once my photos get over 50MB each I'll think about dropping it down. At the moment it's still better for a relative pittance.

Archiving mainly, but good that it provides HD video. It doubles up as my backup for all my photos.

If you're not interested in anyone seeing them, I'd heartily recommend forking out £3 a month for Livedrive backup: http://www.livedrive.com/ForHome/Backup

Noticed that I get the Kindle Library with my Prime membership, so in my Prime Account settings it says 500,000 titles.

Click on "Learn More" and it take you to another page showing you the Kindle devices you can access the library on, says here its 600,000 titles

Click again on the Kindle fire purchase page and it says 700,000 titles !

No doubt, still don't understand why I can buy a Kindle book and read it via an IPad app, but this is blocked when its the library

I'm getting charged for this as well since they banged Prime up to £80

Amazon appears to offer unlimited photo storage as part of Prime. That's useful.

Until you stop paying. Then they burn all your photos and send you the ashes. 2 days later than standard, upside down, outside at the wrong address.

So I've given Amazon Prime Now a shot. At the moment it only works in parts of London.

Basically, if you pay them £7 they will deliver within 60 minutes, or they deliver within 3 hours for free. Minimum spend is £20.

I ordered 4x2l bottles of Pepsi Max with Cherry (for an astonishing 60p each), The Last Of Us Remastered for PS4 and a power lead. The app that you have to use is a little clunky, but it's okay. It gives you the option to tip the driver, which was surprising.

About 30 minutes after I ordered, it started real time tracking the delivery driver.

An hour and ten minutes after I ordered, he turned up and gave me my stuff.

I'm rather impressed, to put it mildly.

Hopefully this will make it out of London soon, don't think it would be something I would use every day, but a nice service to have if you want something ASAP.

This is available in our postcode, and I was just wondering about a few things as it might come in handy for when Little Man arrives. I know a few people have said that Amazon Prime can be quite handy with a newborn anyway, but if I can get things like nappies, etc at short notice when Russell is back at work without having to walk the three mile round trip to the stupermarket, it might be a useful service.

So, what does this cost more than a 'normal' prime membership? I am finding it difficult what the difference is between signing up for Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime Now.

Also, for the free 2 hr delivery window option: do they just tell yo a random two hour delivery window in the day that they will arrange it for, or do you get to choose the window from a list of options (10am-12pm, 12-2pm, etc)?

If you get Amazon Prime, you also get Prime Now (and all the TV stuff and shit). It doesn't cost any more.

The 2 hours free delivery window means your stuff will be with you within 2 hours from the second you press "buy".

Also, you should buy a second car so you can take yourself to the shops. I know someone that has a nice Jag for sale.

I can't drive.

Also, if I could drive, I wouldn't drive a Jag, would I? I'd drive a pootlemobile. Poot poot!

Really, I'd want it painted to look like the Noddy car. Poot poot!

Actually, learning to drive was going to be this year's 'thing I did', but then I got all babied up, so he is this year's awesome thing instead.

Also, thank you for the info on Prime Now. I do think it will be useful.

I will fire them off an email to ask if the Amazon Family which has prime built in also had the benefits of Prime Now. If it does I shall be an unstoppable force in the face of shopping online.

You should drive the ka. It is better than the jag as I can list what it has been driven into.

I can barely walk now, driving would be fun. Between the twin pleasures of giant belly and these comedy boobs I can neither see nor reach anything :(

But still, poot poot! One day I'll have a pootlemobile.

Amazon have this new review called Vine. (well first I've seen of it anyway!)

If you have done lots of reviews and people like you then Amazon may invite you to join the program

This means you get stuff for free and do a review on it

I looked at this, all 24 reviews are from Vine people so that means Tefal gave 24 of these away, that makes me think that they are shit and Tefal want to shift them.

Starting to question the value of Prime these days. Recently everything I've ordered has been 2 days or more.

Then this morning my wife asked me to order more baby wipes. She insists on these organic ones which normally cost me £25 for 12 packs of 60

So I go to my order history, search for wipes and click on the last order. Now the same thing is costing £37.00 plus delivery, but on the same page I can choose 9 packs for £19 and get Prime delivery??

About 10 minutes ago the handheld hoover packed up, so I went to Amazon to order a Dyson DC58, £209 on Prime. Bought it on Tesco with click and collect (Tesco is 5 mins drive from house) for £159, this did include a £20 off voucher as well. Its still 25% cheaper though.

Don't think Prime runs out until September, but I will be shopping around more now and asking myself if next day delivery is that necessary.

I've been thinking exactly the same Asfish. Although I still get things the same/next day, the prices aren't very competitive at all. Especially when you consider that I'm paying £70 odd a year on top of that.

Also, the movie selection on Amazon video is pretty rubbish. If it wasn't for Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 for the kids, I doubt we'd watch anything on it.
