I know the feeling, but from the side of being a cyclist. However, there are good and bad cyclists, motorists and motorcyclists. It's emotive because it's literally life and death. I've been involved in a collision with a motorcyclist, so I know first-hand how awful it is (he lived, which was good).

I missed this before in all the, ahem, excitement, but that's very true also Mali.
People just don't realise how fast bikes are; even my Harley VRod will do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and that's before tuning. A GSX-R will do it in around 2.5 secs.

Even the old air-cooled CVO will do it in around 4.2 secs I think, and that's an out and out lazy cruiser!

It has crossed my mind. Old Man Afterthought has a bike trailer I could borrow (and the camper van to pull it). If it doesn't start it could be a battery, starter, fuel pump or plugs I guess. I might drop him a note on it, and see how busy he is. If he isn't, he could pick it up on his way to see us.
